Did everyone but me know that Jasenko came in third in the last shirt derby?

Well, another day has passed and I didn't use algebra once.

Yeah, got to see lots of friends, some I haven't seen in a while, and my sister took a day off so we spent most of a day with her.

PANIC - I just got an email asking for an interview in the town I just left for that job I rushed an ap for (got 95/100 on the exam), the one that would be great two years from now. ... The job up here Orc would like to get doesn't even close until June.

I didn't really think that you beat him, just to mention. I've heard that those types of spaniels can have a mean streak and aren't necessarily good with kids - you know much about that?

Very much so. They liked my old playhouse and the stairs on the shop my dad and I built. (We didn't build the stairs, they're metal, but we built the shop together).

Wedding was short and sweet followed by a BBQ, it took place in the backyard of the house I grew up in.

It'd make my kids nervous, but they really need more time around dogs. This last weekend was good for that too, they spent a day with my sister's dog (a Beagle), and then there was a couple dogs at the wedding too.

HOLY ****, My dad is one lucky spoon!

just got an email from mom. Apparently dad was in a car accident yesterday, rolled his truck in the interstate median. Lucky to be alive, AND HE REFUSED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL after being pulled out of the wreck! Just wnt to see the chiropracter later that day after he was sure the truck got towed and his work equipment could be loaded into another car to be taken back home.

GAH! What's the point in paying $$$$$$ for his company to have health care coverage if he's not even going to use it!

You're right, he's really lucky. A lot of people like that, either don't want to take the time or don't want to be a bother.

Nothing's working. Windows won't let me copy a file (It just "sits" when I try to drag it). All context menus are taking forever to open (even in different apps). My IDE is behaving really strange (it gets tied up in compute loops, so it will just stop responding randomly for a few minutes). And more that I'm not going to discuss publicly...

apparently tried passing a truck while driving on a wet road. knowing dad, probably had the cruise set (just above the speed limit) and possibly drowsy from doing too much work over the weekend. Drifted just off the pavement, jerked the wheel and overcompensated, went off the other side of the road and rolled.

anyway, sounds like he is trying to take it easy for at least a couple days, which is good. also got another one of his typical email forwards in my email, so it sounds like he's mentally normal as well.

anywho. break time is over, back to the meeting. see y'all later.

Wow! I'm glad your dad is ok. You might encourage him to have a once over with a physician he trusts and respects. My Mom was in a head-on and didn't know her ribs were broken for months, it took longer to heal and there was the chance of her needing to have them rebroken. (It's a very common seat belt injury.)
