uggh, just realized my last post never posted, so I canceled it. Oh well.

Orc actually went outside and checked for tornadoes since that is what the sky looked like and the wind was whipping like mad. It's settled into rain, but we'll still have to check the roof tomorrow. I guess a bunch of places lost power.

Even scarier than deep cleaning carpets for me is removing all furniture from a room and cleaning, it seems if there is any furniture all the dust hides under it, so you can never get all of it.

I moved everything but the TV in the living room so I could clean most of that room. The only reason I didn't move the TV is because it's such a pain in the ass to disconnect all the wires.

I keep telling Orc that there isn't enough flat land here. There is more flat down where I grew up, but even the few times we got tornadoes they were like baby tornadoes, nothing too bad.

Where I grew up wasn't completely flat either, but it still takes an amount of flatness to facilitate the conditions needed for tornado incubation.

No, the audio system is getting a new room.

Actually, it's better for everyone really. No one but me understood the speakers and I am the only one that ever listened to the speakers. Besides that, these speakers really need to be in their own space and need to be closer together than what I had them in the game room. As a bonus, they won't get in the way any more when we're playing on the pool table.
