Besides, from what I can tell from the dog park, paying for your own education is not the norm around here.

Plus I figured out from the snow storms, they are all useless.
There are boys from age 12 to 30 in many houses on the block, but the first big storm, not one was out.
By the third storm they were all out. All the parents go fed up at the same time!

It's an oddity. I grew up in Colorado, and a place was pretty close if it was less than 150 miles away, day trip status. My almost-ex-in-laws, from New York, are convinced that anywhere more than 40 miles away requires an overnight stay.

My speech is not parsing. I am speaking in ellipsis.

I can make NYC in about 45 minutes, and DC in about 4.5 hours (Philadelphia in about 1.5 hours, Boston in 5 hours)... It all depends on traffic.

Well, don't forget, if I get probated for that post, I know who to blame ;-)...

Yeah, it's the "it never started" effect. People feed off of each other, so if you nip it early, people tend to just not do it (not out of fear either)...

I was a mod on a rather large site some years ago. We combated the problem by creating a paid off topic thread. If you donated ($10 per year) to the site, you got access. It was basically unmoderated (except for illegal content). That kept the rest of the site REALLY easy to patrol...

It is true, it goes, any girl pic. Good looking girl pic. good looking girl in bathing suit. Nude girl. Nude girl doing something nasty, in a few posts!
Stop the pictures of girls, and none of the others are ever posted. Like there is a wall or something, you have to post in order.

45 minutes from the city in traffic?
I'm 30 with absolutely no traffic.
The commute is 75 minutes door to door.
It was annoying went I could get to work in 30 minutes on sunday, but it would take almost 2 hours sometimes in the winter on the subway.
Did you know subways don't like cold?
They don't.

So, years ago, why didn't I know this? I still think it is weird there are so few people near me on woot. There are millions of people near me!
