Yes it was worth it.
Both the trip and coming home and catching up.

While in Canada I just missed a 5.5 earthquake by a day, a tornado by a few miles and a riot by about 500 meters. I almost had a lot of excitement.
I did get to spend some quality time with my daugter and son in law, friends and family

My son in law felt it but he works on the 27th floor.

I also had a hassel free experience at the border coming back into the U.S. This has not been true the last few times. As a result we were at the airport very early but the flight was delayed so we spent much more time there than was necessary.

Back for the night. Nice and cool this morning so didn't think about turning the ac on. But just came home and it's 82 in here. It's on now. Hope it doesn't take too long to cool it down.

Made packing progress. Will work on the kitchen more tomorrow, bedrooms are mostly done. Going to see about scanning more, limit how much I have to pack.

Thank goodness for netflix--will be my entertainment for a while!

Good morning everybody! Happy 4th of July! The weather is fabulous. I have doors and windows open. Tourism is alive and well on the beaches of SC. There are people everywhere! Daughter's friend went home yesterday. She was a juvenile onset diabetic. She did a great job of keeping her sugar controlled. My banana muffins messed her up a little but I never thought she would eat so many! Our preacher from the mountains is in our one bedroom condo. The grandchildren of our next door neighbor are supposed to come in today. Stay safe everybody!

Good morning all. Happy July 4th! Looks like we'll be getting some more rain today so don't plan to wander too far from home after church.
Maybe a movie if we can find something worth getting wet over.

Survived another year of camping. Almost finished putting things away. Then a shower. Then a nap. Then things will be back to normal. Thank heavens we were coming home today. High temps and high humidity. Would have been miserable out there.
