These screaming monkeys make great cat toys.

Well, that's not entirely true. Most of our cats are completely terrified of the monkeys whether they're screaming or not, but Burt, our great fat behemoth of a cat, just loves them.

Sometimes I'll be lying in bed almost asleep and suddenly hear the godawful, chilling sound of a screeching monkey in the middle of the night. After I take some nitroglycerin and my heart stops pounding its way through my ribcage, I take comfort in the fact that fat old Burt is somewhere in the house "gutting" his favorite monkey or dropping it off the 2nd-floor balcony into the living room below (he really does that) and having a blast. He's probably just doing it to terrorize the other cats - Burt's twisted like that.

Yeah, I tell my wife they're 16 inches. Then I wrap one around my rooster and wait for her to make the comparison...so far, nothing.
