Because the more "complicated" toys are more expensive.

I remember learning that while in college. That's more of a silent yet totally aghast and dumbstruck response things.
Turken wrote:busted my cheap-but-faithful multi-purpose sandals last month, so just ordered some new shoes online today. curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to try the vibram "five finger" shoes (basically glorified toe-socks with an attached rubber sole). hope they fit. went last night to one of the few stores that carry the shoes locally to try them in person, but couldn't because they were all sold out. gal in the shoe dept said that these things are crazy popular right now -- like birkenstocks or uggs in their heyday. men's shoes in my size in black were even sold out at every online site (including the manufacturer's) I looked at. ended up buying a pair of women's shoes instead. fortunately my feet are right in the size overlap of the men's/women's versions and the mfg says that they're virtually interchangeable. so now I'm conflicted. I think the shoes are kinda cool, but they were relatively expensive and I do hate being part of the "trendy" crowd when it comes to stuff like this. I'm more interested in the functionality and hoping they help with some foot problems, and that they'll good for when we go camping in a few weeks.
I was looking at those last night! I need new shoes, mine are 9 years old and leak. Tell me what you think and I'll set aside some inheritance if possible. Ok sleeping baby time bbl

they sound more like children than shoes.
Hey KtC! I'll let you know what I think of the shoes, just hoping they get here before we leave to go camping.

I wish. I had a migraine on Sunday night (bad, worst in a long time). We won't mention the mental break down last Thursday either, probably had something to do with it, maybe not. I'm waking up with the stupid headaches. They last all day. It's probably do to being exposed to sunlight or something, that made me really sick last year.
Limecat is BACK! This makes me happier than it should.
OK Thunder... when did ya change it??? Did I see it in record time again?
