Consignment shops are great. You can get a $300.00 chair for less than $100.00. Sometimes, Goodwill has some great stuff.

I never heard of it until just now. I only lived 2 or 3 hours away from it apparently. We were big on Boblo Island and Cedar Point. When my daugter was younng we took her to Canada's Wonderland. She now lives only 45 minutes from there now and still goes there 3 or 4 times a year.

I was wondering if you ever saw Cliff Ericson, he is a folk -type bar singer that was very popular in the Ohio/Michigan/Ontario area in the 70's.
I guess he is still working a lot.

Unless you live in a college town. Our Goodwill is awful! Drive into the city if you want anything good, they take all the good donations up there and bring back all the rejects.

You're right. I'm in Charlotte and our Goodwills are pretty good. In fact, our NFL team, The Panthers, who one day will win the Superbowl, just donated 100s of flat screen TVs and furniture. Big cities do have more resources.

Goodwill also has a strict policy of leaving nothing where it is donated, so all donations go to a warehouse and are then distributed back out.

Our town actually has it's own donation shop now and it has great stuff.

when a shirt has been reckoned, does that mean it's gone forever? If so, I assume it is because they are all sold out and not making more?
