Last year they sent a set of coupons via email for all buyers of the lights and winners of the crup.

Obviously it was a 1 in 10 shot of getting it but I feel a little used because there were no coupons.

First of all - HAPPY B'DAY WOOT!!!!

Now that initial posting rash is beginning to calm down, checking in to report a successful wooting!

My initial order ended with 9, but then, since sellout was not immediate I remembered that somewhere out there I had another account that I created a few years ago, when could not remember the log-in credentials to this one... So I went in there and ordered one more set of lights! And boy am I glad I did. Because that second order ended with the magical 6! Now, my own birthday is coming in a couple of weeks with a small change - so there's a chance my crap would be my birthday present!!!

Now, before somebody starts yelling at me that it's not fair to order two - let's get real: at least 50% of those reporting two orders, one for self and one for a wife/girlfriend/son/daughter/cat/dog/bunny rabbit/guinea pig/goldfish/hamster/etc in fact just order two themselves, and the named person has nothing to do with it! At least I'm being honest - yes, I ordered two, but only one BоC came out, and my chances were slick at that anyway....

Anyhow, congratulations to all those scoring their craps! Welcome back to the experienced "Crappers" and welcome aboard to all the newcomers! And let the Woot Gods bless you with the great hauls!

I didnt win the Book of Crap however hoping to plug these lights in the bedroom into my digital converter box....that should make it more romantic in the bedroom

Just wondering, if the DJI ended in a six, but opened with a seven, does that mean it was a seven after everything settled?

Nobody cares how it opened the next day. The closing price was the deal!!!!

According to this chart the adjusted closing index is the same as original: 10,216.27.

The different opening figure comes from some sort of after-market trading. Uh... I mean off hours, or whatever the term is... Here it is explained in general why this is so...

So please leave our lucky-sixes alone!!!!

BTW, is this anything that is strictly forbidden or even frowned upon? Any insight from the gods/mods/anyone that has a legitimate answer, it would be greatly appreciated. It would solve a few arguments in my office.

I think on the order confirmation, it stated that Woot! would NOT send notification to the lucky (sixes) winners, in case they wanted to remain in suspense until the actual order arrived.
