I wish to thank Shadowfist for providing the photo of "what oversized means". It's hilarious and will keep me from purchasing such a huge watch.

Ahnold wears an IWC Big Pilot ... (as do I). That's only 44mm.

This Invicta is one item that really needs to be branded with WOOT! on the dial. So that you can look back, years hence, to July 2010, when you though this watch would be a good investment.

I picked this up last week at worldofwatches for $65 w/ free ship. It is definitely not a watch to wear everyday. I've recieved several compliments in the few days that I've owned this watch, but anyone under 200lb will look like a clown wearing this.

My husband has impaired vision, and I searched for months to find a watch face that he could read. While the numbers and markings on this face are great, the low contrast between the silver hands and the white face ruins its readability for those with low vision. Why don't watchmakers consider this?

He was referring to the size of his wrists, since he is (or used to be) a bodybuilder.

On another note, will there be a watch woot? If so hope to see some of the russian diver collection and the racer too.

Well, there is ChronoShark, which is a watch of the day site that regularly features Invicta watches:

These watches also regularly show up on Beyond the Rack for similar prices, and occasionally Rue La La.

ziggyfield wrote:The best price I have found so for for this kitchen clock for your wrist is $169. This is a true bargain. While I'm not buying one so as to avoid divorce proceedings due to my already overpopulated watch collection, it is a cool and studly watch. Thankfully it is waterproof to 20 atm (200ft) so it will withstand my drooling to own one.

If that's the best price you've found you should not be the one in your house who does the shopping.

That thing should be a 24 hour dial.

The fifth business day on this item is tomorrow- we should have everything shipped out and tracking emailed by the end of day tomorrow.

I just got a shipping confirmation email from woot on this... But my account still doesn't say "shipped", just "your order is in".

All you conspiracy theorists thinking this had "Amazon Gold Box Deal" written all over it, you may be on to something. When I clicked the UPS tracking link in the wootbot email (yes, UPS, first clue), it showed that the watch shipped 2 days ago from Hollywood, Florida. Very interesting...

I got mine yesterday, it shipped from Hollywood, FL and I'm in Orlando. It is big but I like it anyway. Will be useful in a fight to thwack someone or deflect things like wonder woman.

The tag shows the suggested retail price. I wonder if there are people out there wearing this that paid that for it somewhere...

Yeah, got mine Friday 7/23. Ludicrously oversized, but I like it. Nice meaty leather strap, too.

If you believe your watch is defective, we urge you to contact the manufacturer first and foremost, or use any information that came with your package. (There may be a flyer in there with special directions.) If they cannot or will not assist you, you might attempt to return by contacting service@woot.com with your order number and a detailed description of the program.

If you simply do not like the watch, we recommend turning it around on eBay. For more information about our return policy, check here.

Did you know shirt.woot ships internationally? Get you some!

Mine came defective. I called Invicta they told me to contact where I bought it. Typical run around stuff. I will have more time invested in finding out to exchange it than it's worth. I wish Woot would have a better policy to help out there coustomers instead of having us go through all the trouble. Good deals...service not so much.

Try contacting them again, they should honor their warranty. If they refuse to honor the warranty again, get a case number and the reps name if possible and let us know. We'll unleash our screaming monkeys on them if they don't treat our customers right.

I called the 800# on the UPS box...It was Swiss Watch International they told me to return it to them (same address on the box) and they would exchange it. Invicta would have wanted 25~35 $ just to look at it.That didn't seem right to me so I looked for a better option. This way I only had to pay shipping. I still think when you buy something "brand new" it should be and there should be a better way to exchange it. So the customer doesn't have to pay again to get the product they ordered.

I have to admit - I love it! I especially like the mineral crystal - very durable!!!! Yeah, it is a Monster! I like the large size because I figure, it makes me look thinner. Fat chance, no pun intended. My friends tell me that now I just look like a big guy with a big watch. But seriously folks, I do love it. Remarkably "lite" in terms of weight. More comfortable than I thought. Is is really a $495.00 list price time piece though? WOW! The band is VERY durably made and comfortable, soft leather. If I wanted one more feature.... it would be an "indiglo" feature. But this is an Invicta, not a Timex. Glad to hear the water resistance really works!!
