No tracking info available at Fedex, no shipping notice from Woot. Anyone else???

I recieved mine, but alas, it is not in working order. Am I to return it to Woot or deal with it through Apple? Such sadness.

Does Fedex transport things on saturdays and sundays? Fedex.com says that my ipod departed NJ for 2 days now.It wont change.

Got mine this morning. So far it's been charging since it was pretty much dead when I got it.

So since these are all refurbished, what was the old name of your ipods when plugging them into itunes? Mine was recon30 lolz.

I got a reply Friday morning from customer service saying shipping info would be sent Friday evening - it wasn't. Also tried 'thunder thighs' advice and tried to track on FedEx site using order number, but they don't have any info. Very disappointed in my first Woot purchase.

Mine said the same thing and didn't update until this morning when it got here.

By the way, it works great and I have no problems with it yet.

I'm in TN. Got mine today (Sat) about 2pm. Pristine, like new, OS4. Very pleased!

Mine arrived to me in Raleigh, nc this afternoon. I'm using it now to type this post. It's in great condition. I haven't haven't added any media yet. I have added 11 apps though. Loving it!

Fedex brought mine this (Saturday) afternoon in southern California. Works great, no problems. Adding some videos and music now, got some apps from the app store earlier. Mrs. Schmeckelgruben is impressed, wants this one when I decide to upgrade.

Man this sucks, people in Cali already have theirs and mine is STILL in NJ... Makes me never want to order anything off this site.

Actually for the 8GB the 2nd gen is the current gen for those. When the 3rd gen. came out they did away with the 8 GB.

Received mine a few days ago. Case cracked as well. You would think with the price - it would go in a well packed box and not a padded envelope.

Overall the ipod itself seems to be working fine.

Received 2 days ago tried today So far wont take a charge will post again later also back silver case has scratches all over it overall not refurbished no one sends out refurbs like thisrefurbs are supposed to look and work as new and gone through every feature check this is more of a 2 year used Ipod shame on you woot if it dosnt charge it will be going back

I am in CA and mine is scheduled to be delivered August 5th, last 2 Woot's have taken 2 weeks from order to delivery.

We got ours Sat afternoon . . . in a padded envelope and the plastic case was broken all to H___. However, the iPod wasn't hurt. The back silver is a little scratched but overall pristine and works perfectly. My daughter got for her sweet 16 and is extremely happy. We are a poor family so this is really a big thing for her.

Got mine on 7/30. Case was cracked as well but the Touch was undamaged. Working well so far.

Yes! got mine and its in perfect condition. As for the people who got the IPod with cracked cases, dont blame the company. Its all thanks to Fedex. These people are so stupid that they cannot deliver a simple product directly to a customer, they have to ship it around and follow the stupid guildlines. Thankfully I only worked there during college.

Does it say it is in Transit from NJ. A lot of times, the driver will drop off the packages and it will not scan at the receiving site so they will just let it pass without scanning it properly. That is the reason why people were receiving thier IPod without having anything updated on the Fedex website.

You're the 2nd person that received theirs with OS4 already loaded when received.. how interesting! Mine didn't but had 7GB of free space.. The OS takes up a Gig+? Yowzers..... otherwise, I've loaded mine up with apps and works great... can't wait to JB though.

LOL .. I ordered a case, wall & cig charger for mine 2 days after the Woot. They've been here 3 days. It just got to Portland, Or at 2 pm. Only 200 miles to go.

yeah, the site says its in NJ but it says its in transit. I live in northern MN so its not like it should take 2 weeks (But it DID!) I dont live TO far away from NJ but yeah, I REALLY hope this thing comes tomarrow. The estamated delivery date is the 3rd. I dont like ordering things online after this. Would of been easyer just to go to the store and buy one. :/

I think it falls under the you can't have your cake and eat it too. Yes Woot sells you a great deal on an Ipod. The downside you have to wait a few extra days to get it. That's how Woot keeps its prices low, by shipping cheap.

Looks like mine hasn't updated from FedEx for 3 days...supposed to get delivered Aug 5th to CA.

got mine Sat. 7/30, in hard plastic case inside a bubble envlope.
great condition, seems to work well; loaded music, apps, and video, surfed the web using wifi, and listened to music and audio books also watched funny or die. entered serial number and it said it was under warrenty(?) untill January of 2011

My iPod touch was the 8GB Model MC086LL with iOS 3.1.3... I could not jailbreak using jailbreakme.com.. However, after updating to iOS4.0, jailbreakme.com worked perfectly. Nothing more to say on it as it was that easy.

Thought some of you would like to know.

Choose a better form of Shipment... FedEx Ground home delivery contracts its drivers. They are not even required to return their trucks to the annex at the end of their shift. They can take their vehicles and whatever packages the didn't deliver in that day to their place of residence. I purchased the iPod Touch on 7/23/2010 as a 16th birthday present for my Daughter. It was scheduled to arrive on 7/30/2010 just in time for her party.

To make a long story longer.. Fed Ex Lost the package.. it was scanned to a truck at 7:15 am and mysteriously disappeared. FedEx has "Exhausted" their search and will not refund or recover. They are leaving that up to Woot to file the claim.

In the Future.. What can brown do for you?!?! Or How about just Going Postal!!!

This is the 1st time FEDEX has stuffed my order ( any order ) in my mailbox. I'm rural and this is NOT acceptable. It is 96* out there !! I lucked out ( maybe ) as I have not tried the unit yet. It set out there for 40 minutes until I just happened to check tracking ... see this > Aug 3, 2010 2:05 PMDeliveredSignature Service not requested. If this does not work, WOOT has lost a customer. I'll report back on the results .. hopefully, this thing did not cook out there.
On a plus note, the case was not broken. Will update later.

Not to mention illegal. Nobody but the United States Post Office is allowed to place anything inside a USPS mailbox.
