To clarify:
Ports: 1.3 ports are only capable of 1080i 3D, while 1.4 ports are required for full 1080p 3D.

Cables: Any 1.3 cables rated as "high speed" can handle 3D, as can 1.4 cables.

You also need 1.4 for ARC ( Audio Return Channel) functionality.
