These will be great my monitor only has 1 HDMI input and I am tierd of switching the cable between cable box, blu-ray, or ps3. Now I can just switch it over on the tv. I'm buying 3 for the team to have a few extra around. At $1/ft it is a pretty good deal compared to what I payed at the box store recently. And the last ones I bought were x-treme and I've had no problems.

Gold plating is often used in electronics, to provide a corrosion-resistant electrically conductive layer on copper, typically in electrical connectors. Nobody wrote that it was to improve the signal...

Not that I know of. The formatting codes deal mostly with text. Auto-resizing would probably tax Woot's system too much, with so many messages being posted simultaneously.
