they are soooo pretty, and the bamboo block is too. Unfortunately, all I use knives for in the kitchen is to cut food, and I am not one of the wealthiest 1% of the population so if I bought these, I would not have much food to cut.
But they really are pretty.

well couple of ways. first you check to see if the "first sucker" is the same as the "last wooter to woot" then use a woot tracker such as wooters.us which give you a percentage left rather then just a bar. and from there its just simple math.

like for example when the first knife sold wooters.us percentage went down to 99.5% so that means every 1% accounts for 2 knives and therefore the prediction 200 knives. one person said 250 so maybe he is using some other tracker.

Whenever I see knife specs, it reminds me of when my wife and I went knife shopping a few years back. The store had small labels so they shortened the descriptions. Instead of 12" slicing knife it was 12" slicer. Would have been fine, but they were displaying a 6" boner and an 8" boner.

These knives are a cut above the rest.
Any way you slice it, this is a great deal. If you think the block is too big, I'm sure you could carve out an area for them on the counter. Hope it doesn't block the view to the back yard. I'll butcher gonna love these knives.

I stop now...

They have sold 4 and it only move 7%. We are FRAKED folks. You know the Baggie of Cthulhu is coming after this monster deal. I would love the knives, but I just can't afford them. I have to pay OBAMA congress high taxes that is giving my money to welfare mom's and deadbeats. I live in IL, we tried to warn you Americans that the government thinks they can spend you money better than you. But screw the Palin republicans, they feel the rich need all the money and it is ok for corporate America to accept welfare so their sons and daughters can drive new cars. Vote for a libertarian next time. They may be wacko, but at least they will stay out of you life and check book.

Shun knives are otterific, but Ken Onion handles don't fit my hands well and I find them too heavy. I much prefer the Classic series, especially since I partially grip the blade. However, if you like Ken Onion knives definitely buy these. The blades are wonderful, and free life time sharpening! (if you are considering buying Shun knives from any website, go down to a store that carries them and try them out first... see which works best for you)
