A knife is a knife but you do get what you pay for. That said, most people will have no use for these unless they like to cut lot of things and do it quite often.
At least these will last a lifetime or three if properly cared for and sharpened. unlike that iPhone everyone replaces every year.
Yep, the knives give you a better long term return than any electronics ever will. Unless like me you tend to get your fingertips in the way.
