Does anyone else find it funny that in the early to mid portions of the discussion where people were reporting if they got a hit or a miss, there were people who scored one that attributed it to new Amazonian servers, and people who missed one who attributed it to Amazon not upgrading Woot servers? Found it somewhat amusing personally.

It means we can start a trend here and get rid of our stuff in a fun(?) way. I've got crap to get rid of, who else missed the boat this trip?

Same here - I have a whole box of past craps that is just sitting in a corner in my bedroom. It's not that it's bad stuff, it's just stuff I'll never use.

First PM to me gets it - and I'll even throw in some of my own crap (not literally, don't worry)

I guess that I have gotten so many of the Random Carps by now that I just don't get excited about them any more. In the back of my mind I still hope for the famous "letter" and to get a pallet of carp, but I know in reality I will get a box with pretty much the standard junk that everyone gets and that my $3 + $5 shipping could have been better spent at Starbucks than here.

Since the purchase was made last Friday, we should start to get some form of tracking late tomorrow, with shipments to be delayed by the Labor Day Holiday. What fun.....

Hey... Question for anyone who will answer it....

I bought one of the shirts off of the reckoning list during the woot off, and my shipment notification says 50.2 lbs in a 16.8 cubed box.

I've gotten enough BOCs that I know that it's not actually weighed until it reaches the sortation center, but seriously.... The shirt shouldn't even be IN a box... it should be in a bag. It was 1 shirt, in a kids 6 or 8 size.

What the heck is going on here????

Seriously, why do you bother then? You know, most of the Baggie of Cthulhu vets here know this(the anticipation) is the best part of the Baggie of Cthulhu experience. Yet, you seem to be poo-poo on it.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but it you don't like Baggie of Cthulhu's, why are you buying them?

Since Fedex reuses tracking numbers, maybe you're seeing what that tracking number was used for last time... Does it show it going to your location? What is the current status?

It shows it coming to my location, and that it has left Dallas.

I also checked pacakgemapping, and it shows the same information. I logged it into MyFedEx and it showed me the cubed box.

I know at least once in the past that a random wooter ordered a shirt and got a big old box of misprinted shirts and things like that.

However i think that was during a "Random Shirt" day...so I'm not sure if that will be the case with you. But just one of the posibilites to help explain why.

last shirt i got started out around 20lbs, and once processed at the second location, dropped to 0.3 lbs, considering the volume of stuff woot dropps off to fedex, a few mistakes seem likely.

That appears to be what happened.

My shipment was updated AFTER emailing woot, so the response I got was something like this "Umm.... What's wrong with your screen? Cuz I see .2 lbs like I should be seeing?" (Not exactly, but you know what I mean).
