Morning all!

Had fun this weekend, went out to the Navy Pier and saw a bunch of tall-mast sailing ships that were on display. Seriously considering booking a trip on one of them for an anniversary cruise some year -- perhaps by our 20th, we'll actually be able to save up enough to afford the trip we really want!

Yes, combined with being really busy and not being able to attend the seminars or other training classes I had planned on for the year.

I should be fine next year, because I have a certification class that will get me at least 20 hours, and probably a software user conference that will get me more, along with other seminars.

Edit: *sigh* lots of procrastination. ugh

An 8 hour course on Sarbanes Oxley is not my idea of a good time.

Wow, that was fantastic. Started with the bread and oil stuff. Then a wine with the appetizers - steamed mussels in a garlic butter sauce. I've never had mussels before. Pretty good. Or maybe it was the garlic butter sauce that was so good. Then a bruchetta. Then a salad. The entree was a combo - chicken marsala/chicken and spinach and cheese stuffed ravioli/some kind of corkscrew pasta. With another wine. Then there was a dessert wine and cannoli. No one knew how much to tip. The two main people were the kitchen manager and a wine person. Two waiters. I think most of us left $10.

Wow, you were lucky. Guy banker that lurks sent me this...they are charging him if he goes. lol
