d'name - I agree with everyone else, if it's driving you crazy that hubby is spending all his vacation time to sit around at home, then plan some trip for yourself to take while he's too busy working. now that son is out of the house and not your responsibility, take the dog on a roadtrip down to texas to go wootstaff-stalking?

The lay down on your back and let the puppy beat you up would get annoying after awhile.

A dog friendly place to sleep would be your house. Husband could take care of Rusty for a few days or a week.

Yeah, I had a slipped disc fixed on one side and some sort of arthroscopic thing done on the other side. At some point down the road, I'll be able to eat grown-up food!

First day of kindergarten went well. Only going half days while the school board decides how many hours of volunteer time equals the fees for all day classes. Ver1 was seriously bummed when I told her it was time to go home.

Spent about 20 mins working on her homework. Have to create a presentation of some sort introducing her to the class for next Tuesday. Teacher suggestions included making a book, a DVD, powerpoint, or a poster.

Was downloading map updates on my new GPS and the ##$% cord came unplugged from the GPS (maybe because it's only a foot long, which is fine for laptops, but lousy for PCs) and then I got a message that it was disconnected (no kidding) and to reconnect it and press OK to continue. However, nothing happens when I press OK.
