Hello again. Went to dinner with son and granddaughter, a Mediterranean restaurant. I know it's odd, but they have the most fantastic chicken thighs.

Son and friend are now trying to put what I think is way more stuff into a van that will fit.
I hope hubby didn't plan on going back to work on monday, because I bet he will be making a day trip up and back with the last load.

I was wrong.

It is all in, except for two guitars.
They will fit, I just hope I can tie them down somehow. There is a ton of small spaces on the sides and stuff, if I move stuff around I should be able to make the guitars so they can't fly around .

So now the boys are off to Astoria, land of affordable rent near the city, to see a friend who starts at NYU this week.

Honestly, since son is less than 3 hours away and he is the furthest, you would think they will never see each other again.

Only stupid thing was, I locked the cat in son's room and he let him out while the house door was still open.

I will not go nuts looking for that cat again! But he didn't get out.

Good morning Ms. Rain and all who follow...I wonder what adventures today will bring?

Thursday I had to make a trip to the unviversity's water research station out in the boonies. Good news- didn't get bit by water moccasins or rattle snakes.
Bad news- got chigger bit all to hell. My legs are covered with itchy welts.

Ewww. Are you sure it's chiggers? They usually get in tight clothing spots, waistlines and...others. And they're not bites, they're in there. Put a little clear nail polish on them and they stop itching pretty fast.
