Mine had a tracking number on the 14th and shipped out on the 15th. It's supposed to be here tomorrow but this is a work address!

I've seen comments that these are shipping "from Texas." Texas is bigger than France. El Paso is closer to San Diego than it is to Houston (really).

Can someone narrow it down for me -- what city are they shipping from?

Or a flock ... one piece per bird. Pigeons aren't as adept as swallows at using string to carry coconut-sized objects.

Mine says shipped from IRVING, TX

Finally got my tracking number, but it still shows up as "Not Found" in Fedex. Tracking by reference gets a "Not Found" too. I'll have o see if the CC got charged. Waz up wit dat Woot?

Finally got my tracking number, and FedEx finally recognizes it. Should get mine on the 22! Oh well, guess I'll have to wait until next weekend to play with it.

Quoting myself. Mine shows delivery tomorrow, and that it left Irving at 11:18 pm.

Mine showed up today. Works beautifully. Netflix in HD looks a lot sharper and smoother than it does in either Boxee or Windows Media Center.

ordered on the 9th delivery expected on the 22nd not worth the the saving especially on a refurb item. next time will just use amazon and buy new.

Yep, ordering on the 9th, shipping on the 17th and delivery on the 21st is piss poor. No more Woot.

got mine today! set up was easy as pie! everything looks great, works great, looks like new! Kinda dumb that you cannot turn the unit off without unplugging the unit, oh well i will just leave it plugged in! excellent buy!

i forgot to add there are a ton of channels avialable that are not in the channel store. go here to get started, there are some private channels, like youtube

As identified... there are a ton of private channels available to your Roku if you know where to find them, everything from Educational channels to XXX adult channels (which could also be considered educational depending on your point of view) Some channels are free... for others you will need to go to the suppliers website and pay a access fee that can be single use, monthly or yearly. A good example is Flickstream that offers a large selection of classics for a really low fee. Like access to Fifty Drive-In Classic Films for only 3 bucks a year

That said if you are interested in adding more channels it's pretty easy.
First... if you haven't already done so...
1) Go to the Roku website and link your Roku box to your account.
2) Then, on the "My Account" page, click the link labeled "Add Private Channel"
3) You will then be prompted to ender the the channel code.

Got mine today, works perfectly. Instruction pamphlet had old handwriting on it regarding the phone support number and hrs, so I figure whoever returned this couldn't figure out how to use it. This was a great deal!

Got mine a little bit ago. From Texas to Ohio in 2 days. It took longer to find an hook up an hdmi cable then it did to set it up.

Received mine today and just set it up via HDMI. Took about 15 minutes without needing to look at the instructions. Now watching a NetFlix movie

Same story here. It works like a charm. Netflix looks great on a moderately fast internet connection. Also more stable than on my Tivo. Couldn't be happier. Pandora works well too. I just wish local network streaming was supported out of the box. No regrets of the purchase, though.

got mine yesterday...

setup was easy, wired works great, however,

wireless = no-workie.

I get three green lights at setup but won't finish connection to netflix or any other channel for that matter, I will need to go thru Roku CS...

I know there are issues on routers and setups. tried different wireless routers and encription/no incription.
I already have the Roku from last month and that works fine as wireless connection.
oh well can't win them all...

Mine arrived on 18th, but failed to work. Could not get past the opening setup page since to go any further you had to push Select on the remote. There is no communication between the remote and the box - hence you can't even get it set up. Yes it had batteries in the remote. In fact it came with them installed plus another pair. Have tried both sets, which test OK, but still no help.
I even hit the reset button on the bottom of the box to see if that would help, but it did not. I assume when I send it back (Woot doesn't have email assistance on the weekend) that the only option is to get my money back as they were sold out.
It is set up as an ethernet connection and the device appears active on my router.
If anyone has any suggestions for this curious situation - besides shipping it back - please leave a message.

I ordered 2 Rokus. One did not come with the remote control.I read some earlier comments they were always missing parts. Why can't they get it right ?? This is frustrating. I hope Roku would send me the replacement remote.

Well... I don't know if I would say they are always missing parts. However, I know with the Roku that was offerd a couple weeks before this XR model, that several Wooters reported they were missing the power supply! I had really hoped the Roku refurb engineering team had the shipgroup problems corrected for this offering. Bummer!

As pointed out by Woot staff (two threads back), they suggest that you first contact Roku with any issues. If Roku fails to correct or resolve the situation, then contact Woot.

Please let us know how it all works out and if it was hassle free... (or painful).

Well I got my tracking number last Friday, but FedEx has no record of it.

I got mine Saturday morning at 10:45, and it worked without a hitch. Wireless N with a D-Link DIR-625 router, 4 Quality dots and HD.

My skeptical wife was even watching Field of Dreams on Netflix as I left for work this morning.

Don't hate the playa, hate the game.

Tracking number received, but it's Not Found on the FedEx website.

This will make me think twice next time.

FedEx is now tracking - "Left originating facility" this morning.

Not that this will make you feel any better... but several Wooters have reported receiving their Roku, even though they never got a FedEx tracking confirmation.
