Got my box on Wednesday, but it was mostly standard fare. Jumble calendars, golds bags, useless kids T-shirt. There was also an "bloody" refurbished Cobra radar detector that works. The wife asks why I keep buying this crap, & I tell her you just have to believe.

Calendar update:

Today is Friday February 26th. This puzzle is jacked up, too. (Feb 18th is incorrect as well.) This one has more source letters than the final puzzle. That should have been a simple catch. And, on top of that, they aren't in the right places. I solved the source words and tried to solve the final puzzle and couldn't obviously. So I read the clue and figured out the solution and tried to work the words backwards, but that wasn't going anywhere. I checked my original answers and they were right, but the source letters were wrong (and there were too many of them). I think their editor needs to be fired.

I don't have too much experience to compare it to others, but it seems pretty nice. It's light weight, taller than most I had used (goes above my eye level), feels solid, and its easy to adjust in all angles. The coolest thing to me is that the legs can each individually lock into a few different positions. I'd say two legs stretched out as flat as they can make about a 150 degree angle. I guess that's good for shooting on odd surfaces. I can't wait to really try it out.

Here is my Bucket of Candy story. It was suppose to arrive 13th; a happy 12lb box of crap. The day came for it to arrive but when I got home from work, no crap. I hurriedly check the tracking and to my surprise it said "undeliverable" and that it was being sent back to Woot. I then email the Woot monkey and explained the problem. They have sent out a replacement and my 12lb box has dropped to .8 lbs. What does it mean? What could it be? Will have to wait and find out on the 21st.

I am still waiting for my Bucket of Candy. Tracking still showing "information sent to FEDEX" and was last updated Sept 28th. Hmmm

Wow.. I get sick for a few days, come back and you are already in march... You are solving the puzzles faster than I can make them into paper airplanes. (that fly at least) And finding the flawed logic checked puzzles. I'm gonna have to step up my game..

Please note I have to start from scratch because I made the mistake of leaving the calendar I was making into planes in the break room at work and now a good half of the calendar is missing, either someone took a chunk to work on at home, or someone is REALLY smart. I'm voting for the first one, as I work at a large scale *cough*Wal*cough* has everything *cough*Mart*cough* store. But the good news is I got a few more calendars! Free case of car wax, here I come!!

I actually left work yesterday in the middle of March 30th. I just sort of work them whenever I'm waiting on something (long running jobs, etc.) and the occassional break. I'll hit a run of easy ones and breeze through several, then I'll hit some that are harder (or wrong) and those take a little longer.

For me, the best part of the box was the screaming monkey (who actually doesn't scream too well). He will make a great addition to my Captain Jack Sparrow costume as the Monkey who wouldn't die.

Late in posting this, but this Bucket of Candy is way better than my last one. Screaming monkey is the best part, I've never bought one. I'm using the fitness tote to wrap my shoes in when I pack for travel, so that works.
