If this is a contest of the crap, here is one of the items in my bag. It fell apart and these are its two halves. The white thingy is a flat plastic air bag, with valves at the top and bottom. When assembled, you squish on a calculator button (any of them) and the bag lifts a little piece of plastic into a very tiny view window so it actually DOES something. Otherwise it has no moving parts. It's an imitation calculator, and I'm keeping it!

I thought I would be excited about anything in my bandoleer of carrots. So when I got home today and saw the box at my door I was super excited. It was a different size box than everyone was getting(shape of a wall picture about 2 in thick). I open it up and....... A pet door, like a baby gate, but for pets!!! that's it no calendars, no monkey, no bags. Don't get me wrong I will be trying again for the next Baggie of Cthulhu, but I was hoping for.. not sure what. But I was looking forward to the monkey and bag and even the outdated calendar... but a pet gate!!! Good luck to everyone!!

AHA!
You do get personally involved in packing these!
The thing has some miles on it; probably it came out of the same box as the placemats. The WOOTstaff is getting around to unpacking their moving boxes, I can tell. Thanks, TPW!
P.S. I unloaded the calendars and the gym bags on a teacher friend; they're a HUGE hit with high school kids.

So, my wife calls me at work and asks if I want her to open my first Beautiful Ocean Cabana. NO WAY!! I tell her. Bags of Crap should only be opened by those who appreciate crap; not by those who roll their eyes and don't understand the true meaning of crap!

FED Ex dimension 13.5" cube; actual dimension 4' X 6" X 2.5". I actually thought it was not my bag until I read the shipping label.
Contents:
1 kids shirt: Man fishing with worm, fish fishing for humans with donut. (My girl loves it)
1 blue camo monkey (EXCELLENT!)
2 2010 crappy calendars
1 slightly used Sunpak Verstipod 2 monopod/tripod ($80 online)

Love the crap! Bring on the next WOOT OFF so I can try for another! (more eyes rolling from the wife).

Baggie of Cthulhu came and the best part about it was that it came in a strong 'non-WOOT!' box. Figured something good might be there since there was no chance for any thing to 'fall' out. But ugh, just standard stuff.

10.6 lbs. of:

* 8 x 2010 Jumble Calendars

* 3 x Gold's Gym Bags

* 1 x Kid's size 6 Haunted House shirt

* 1 x Flying WOOT! monkey with yellow leopard cape.

* 0 x Texas air

Most of the fun is in the anticipation and that was fun. One of my coworkers got in on the same Baggie of Cthulhu and got more interesting stuff though. How can I live that down??

Hooray, my Random Crap finally arrived today!

Dramatic video results, with lousy clipped audio.

The take in my 18.2lb box:

  • (6) 2010 Jumble Calendar Game
  • (3) Gold's Gym Fitness Tote
  • (1) "A Wonderful Day" shirt, size K10
  • (1) Woot Screaming Monkey, leopard print cape
  • (1) Cyber Acoustics 2.1 Powered Speaker System, Model# CA-3698
Speakers work great. NICE.

otterific! I so wanted the woot monkey!
Thank you woot!

I actually saw this post and knew the dimensions and weight were exactly the same as mine so I was expecting to get the same items.

Woot did not let me down.

8 Jumble Calendars
1 Kids size 6 Dinosaur T-Shirt (Sorry I cant remember the real name )
3 Golds gym totes
1 Flying woot monkey with leopard print cape.

So the only difference was the specific tshirt and specific woot monkey given. All in all not a bad haul. I am really glad about the gym totes as I really needed one. And three is always better than one! I'm sure my girlfriend will appreciate the kids size 6 shirt when I give it to her. ;)

Orangutan Mating Guide! I got to open my first Bundle of Cracker Jacks prizes today!

6x Jumble calendars (gave 4 to apartment office peeps since I have like 10,000 more from the original woot! last December...anyone want any Jumble or Brain Game?)

3x Gold's Gym drawstring bags (stocking stuffers!)

1x Screaming monkey in leopard cape (perfect for annoying next door neighbors through the walls)

1x Nerdy by Nature size 4 child's shirt (just so happens I have a niece who'll grow into this in a few years)

1x Millionaire Password game (looks like I have this year's Thanksgiving family board/bored game)

0x bags of Texas air

Overall, well worth my $8 and weeks of anticipation! Thanks woot!

My first ever Baggie of Cthulhu arrived yesterday, but I waited a whole day to have an opening ceremony with my boyfriend today. Don't think I don't plan to use the "I waited a whole day to open a Baggie of Cthulhu for you" line in the future, as in "What do you mean I can't buy 3 Tommy Bahama luggage sets in the next Wootoff? I waited a whole day to open a Baggie of Cthulhu for you!"

9.6lbs 24x12x12:

6 2010 Jumble Calendars
3 Gold's Gym Totes
1 Kids Size 10 RYB t-shirt
1 Screeming Monkey with leopard print cape (whom I've named Lady Castlemoldy)
1 box of Mighty Mendit with bonus Mighty Gems (I guess for "blinging out" Lady Castlemoldy's understated cape)

Items crappy as described. A++ Would Woot! again.

Standard crap for me on my first wootoff and first Beautiful Ocean Cabana, but the best part was forgetting it was arriving today (and given the 5.7lbf package I wasn't expecting anything great).

I walk in the door to:
(wife): You got a bunch of weird stuff from woot! What did you order?
(me): [smile]

I tried to explain and convince her of the awesomeness of a Beautiful Ocean Cabana, but she doesn't get it.

3x Gold's Gym Fitness Totes
3x 2010 Fact or Crap Music Edition Calendars
1x Kids T-shirt...I don't even know what it is
1x Flying Monkey with checkered woot! cape

At least my 2-yr old is screaming the flying monkey scream now.

Thanks woot!

This is my 3rd Baggie of Cthulhu, and most unique, so thought I'd post. According to FedEx, the box weighed 11.5 lbs. According to my postal scale, 11 lbs 7 oz:

0 bags Texas air (They must be running out.)

0 Gold's Gym totes - no bag of any kind

8 jumble desktop calendars (Excessive calendars again, darn it!)

1 sz 6 kids t-shirt

1 screaming monkey with checkered cape (Always welcome!)

Bonus:

1 Little, 2 Little, 3 Little Elephants: A Sing 'n Move Book (Baby Genius: Sing' N Count Book)

WITH: mini yellow sticky note, with combination of numbers & capitol letters scrawled in black pen. Very mysterious.

AND

RC Transgripper and Trailer by Rokenbok. Looks expensive! Box contained all the parts listed. They were all rattling around in the box, with none of the usual stuff to hold it in place. There's a scuff mark on top of the little transgripper vehicle. No way to know if it works:

"Operate your vehicle with the multifunctional, hand-held Control Pad and radio key (sold separately)."

20 years too late for my kids to enjoy, but it was fun none the less! LOVE the Baggie of Cthulhu experience, and will continue to try for them. Congrats to all those who received a letter - can't wait to see what you get!

Thank you, Woot!

1x Generic non-woot-branded box

6x Jumble desktop calendarss

1x woot monkey with blue camo cape

1x Sansa cable (no packaging but coiled perfectly)

3x Gold's Gym fitness tote

1x small child's woot shirt, the white snowman one

1x foam wings to an AirHogs switchblade toy. Just the wings and instructions, in a sealed baggie. (Who's got the rest of the toy? I'll send you the wings!)

0x Texas air

aaaaand,
1x Skullcandy DoubleAgent headphones with charging cable, audio input cable, 1GB SD card, in plastic clamshell but no cardboard product information, no instructions, and nearly half a roll of packing tape holding it closed. The headphones charge, but I can't figure out how to turn it on. It's been discontinued and there's no instruction manual online (that I can find.) Maybe it's dead? Skullcandy has a lifetime warranty, so I'll see if they will replace it. The SD card even has 3 whole songs on it!

oooh correction, I figured out how to turn it on. It's a bit static-y though. I'll probably never use it, in all reality. I have noise-canceling earbuds and an iphone. These headphones are too bulky for my daily commute music-listening time.

For $3, I have no complaints!

Bwa ha ha! I win this round!

Mine got here just in time since I'm leaving town tomorrow!

10.5 lbs:

  • 6 x 2010 Jumble Calendars
  • 3 x Gold's Gym Bags
  • 1 x kid's shirt: Please do not eat the bears
  • 1 x Flying WOOT! monkey with yellow leopard cape
  • 1 x ATI PCI-E tuner card
  • 2 x Maximo iM-490 headphones with extension cord and carrying pouch
  • 1 x metal thermos (appears to be new)
  • 1 x Phillips television remote control missing the batteries, the cover for the battery compartment, and of course, the TV

One set of headphones is in the box but it has been opened. The other set is wound up and stuffed in the carrying pouch. They are clearly used as they came with some bonus earwax and a few strands of hair. (ewww)

I don't know if the tuner card works or not. My computer is 9 years old so it doesn't have any PCI-E slots. I'm planning on building a new one this winter, so I guess I'll hang on to the card until then and see what happens.

All in all, some fine crap and I'm more than happy!

Thanks woot!

My Box of Crapola came today and I was worried because teh bottom long flaps' tape had obviously been sliced open. I figure the Smartpost-als took the $5000 Amazon gift card that was inside.

They left me:

5 2010 JUMBLE calendars (I'd better start on them now to catch up);

an ugly brown and yellow little kid's shirt (perfect to use when checking my car's oil);

a camo-caped Screaming Monkey;

2 Gold's Gym tote bags ... meh; and

a TransDock Marine splash-proof FM transmitter for iPod (Amazon Retail value of $59)

Not bad for my first Baggie of Cthulhu!

Woot! Got home last night to find a bloated oligarch's carcass on the porch! Much, much less crappy crap than the last Baggie of Cthulhu I scored. Very exciting:

8- Jumble 2010 Calendar Games
6- small plastic pipette things
3- Golds gym totes (these are even crappier than I pictured them being!)
1- kids size 6 T shirt (already donated to a friend with a size 6 kid)
1- Screaming Monkey with checkered cape (this makes the $8 totally worth it even if I hadn't gotten more crap)
1- Panasonic Link to Cell bluetooth thingie w/ 2 handsets (can fwd calls from home to cell phone or, I presume, vice versa)
1- Polaroid 7MP digital camera

Quite a haul, I must say! It's not even crappy crap!
