EWWWWw
No shipping here yet also.
Nope. No shipping yet.
I haven't wooted a lot, but every time I have I usually get my item quickly. Doesn't even show shipped yet!!! :/

Hang in there, folks. We typically ship orders within five business days after the sale.
Well golly gee fellows, today is the 7th.By my math that is 6 days.A bit long don't you think?

They said business days, which should put the deadline at tomorrow. But my last w00t order (a few weeks ago) took almost two weeks to ship, so I wouldn't be surprised if this takes just as long.
Can't wait to get my new toy.. when is thing supposed to ship already?
Its been 5 business days and my order has not been changed to shipped. Does anyone know what the delay is?
My first Woot. I was hoping "usually ships in 5 days" didn't mean they always waited the full five days. "A message about interminable shipping delays?" Funny. And telling. Edited to add: I got shipping notification at 7:18 Eastern. Woot!
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ! Oh, I'm sorry! I fell asleep waiting on shipping notification!
Got my email with tracking #
Whew! I woke up just in time to get my shipping & tracking email at 6:41PM EDT. Now I get to wait on the slow "SmartPost" system to get my order to me. That should be abother 5+ days
"Your order for 1 Sandisk Sansa Fuze 4GB Media Player on 10/01/2010 has been recently shipped via SMARTPOST."
Wow ! 14 days from order to recieve ???? Turtle shipping. I noticed it only took one day for paypal to get drained. My last encounter with this place. Looks like you get what you pay for.
Two weeks from order to delivery? What year is this anyway? I'll think twice before buying from here again.

My Sansas must have been sitting in the wrong loading dock for fed ex. Mine are due to arrive Saturday via FedEx Home delivery. The 'WOOT' gods love me!
Maybe a perk of having 100+ woots? haha I'm excited to get it.. in about Orangutan Mating Guide 7 more days. T_T
Got my Sansa today. It looks new and works great.1 week from order to door is perfectly acceptable.Obviously,a snide comment on this board will make your Woot magically appear just to make you look bad.
Got mine today, but unfortunately it has a "FAT CORRUPTED ERROR" and I cannot reformat. I'm searching the Sandisk forums for a solution.

Your Fuze needs to be in MSC mode to be able to format it. But By default it starts in MTP mode. To boot it in MSC mode you need to: 1. Turn device OFF. 2. Slide the Hold switch down to Lock (orange color showing). 3. Press and hold the left button ( |<< ) while connecting the device to the PC. Then it will be in MSC mode and you should be able to format your Fuze by right-clicking it in My Computer.
Man!....Mine's delivers on the 15th, this is bull!
crapolaman wrote:I doubt if anyone is still reading this thread, but just in case.... If I put podcasts into the folder "Podcasts", will Fuze resume at the place I left off at?
Yes!

Thanks for the advice, but it seems that now my FUZE won't even power on. My computer recognizes it, but when I try to format it it says "Windows cannot complete format"

I would thy using SanDisk's Live Chat, they helped me when my sansa would not work. Just tell them every thing you have all ready tried and you should be able to fix it. http://kb.sandisk.com/app/utils/chat/
Wow, I have been waiting forever for my Sansa and it finally came today, with a cracked screen!!!
Did I miss that there was no box or original packaging included? I purchased as a gift but do not feel right extending it as such. Did anyone else get a box?

Just some bubble wrapping here on both units I ordered. They are refurb, so shouldn't expect packaging. Also no headphones, weren't those supposed to be included.

Received mine today. Mine did have headphones and USB cord. It was wrapped in bubble wrap, placed in the bottom of box, and two plastic pillows on top. I was amazed that it is in perfect condition and works. However, I can see where this could have easily been damaged. The "pillows" did nothing to secure the device in place. It reminded me of when my sister mailed me 3 ceramic figurines wrapped in bubble wrap and tossed into a box without anything else. They were free to fly around unencumbered and crush themselves to bits.
I got mine today - along with the usb cord and ear buds, charged it all the way, put mp3s on it, and it works perfectly. It did have a lot of files on it out of the box (about 1gig of music), but those were easily enough deleted
Just got mine today. 2 weeks is a little long imo. Turned it on, screen goes white. Won't turn off. Lousy refurbs.
got mine today, works perfect, have it full with 3 gig of music, perfect sound quality, great woot for me
I'm having problem with my computer recognizing this fuze... I went to the website to download the firmware updater but it won't even finish downloading untill the computer recognizes it. Any suggestions?
Holy cow! Three things in a box! No repackaging, no paperwork (so no warranty of any kind?), just three things in plastic bags. Clearly nothing I can give as a gift.

Sure you can!! If for Christmas, then hang it from the tree like an ornament, with their name tag attached to the headphones. Make a bow with the cords. If for a bday gift, put it in the card, with their fav songs already loaded. You can get all kindsa creative with it.

Very easy fix. Go to "Settings"; scroll down to "System Settings;" click center button then scroll to "USB mode"; click center button and scroll to"MSC" hit the right arrow and you are done and I bet your computer will now recognize it and easily add your music. This is my second Fuze. I had the same issue with both of them; needed to call tech support with the first one.... hopefully this will help. I really like this MP3. Just bought the second for a present and have loaded my favorite 1000 songs on it. Wish I had bought more.

Thanks... that did the trick.
It lasted 3 hours and now it doesn't work. How do I return it?
