it is a sad day to realize that i cannot participate in all the otterific other-woots that are available, but hopefully some day soon we can all share this glory

shirt.woot is amazing, dont get me wrong, i love a lot of the shirts that go up and im very glad that it is something i am able to participate in
but being able to also get a hold of some of the amazing deals that come up on woot would just be icing on the cake

Okay I know this one is done and over with but seriously, do you people really believe you can't wear earphones on a plane? Of course you can.

And guess what, if they're not a visual obstruction then you can wear them while driving too, to say you have to be able to hear while driving is to say you can't have the music up too loud.....or be a deaf person.

Actually it is illegal in most areas to wear headphones while driving.

Has anybody who ordered this received them in the mail yet? I was not expecting it by today but I don't think I can track this shipment so I was just wondering when this would come.

So I finally get my shipping confirmation, WOOT WOOT. Oh wait...Smart Post What The Heck, How do you make the USPS slower, have another carrier deliver it to the slowest shipper in the US.

Connected these to my iPhone 4 and the next/prev buttons are not working. Play and pause work. Phone call button is only calling the last person I called. Does not let me hold to use voice control.


Anyone else have better luck?

I can't get it to pair up with my iPod Touch 4 at all but it paired up automatically with my Blackberry Curve 8530.

I'm in the same boat as you. Can't adjust volume, can't skip tracks, can't hold the phone button for voice control... Not good.

Am I the only one whose headphones sound like one of the speakers is blown? The sound quality is TERRIBLE, and i am not an audiophile. Will Woot! exchange them for a properly sounding set? I was very excited to receive them and be the envy of the office, but now i feel like the joke might have been on me

Got mine today and seem to have no sound out of the left speaker. Returns? woot?

Mine arrived today. I'm pretty sure that the around the area design was made for children. Also the volume button is often unresponsive. The sound is okay, but not worth $50. Overall I would not recommend these to anyone.

Received my unit today. The external brown box was sealed but the Samsung package inside has the seal broken. So, this must have been broken when it left WOOT WH. It clearly says on the box not to accept the unit if the seal is broken. Can someone from WOOT comment? I thought these were NEW units, and not refurbished ones.

Wow, I'm having the exact same problems as the people above. One of the speakers seems to be blown, broken seals on the packaging, horrible sound quality.

What gives?

Got mine today. All 4 stickers that say "DO NOT ACCEPT IF SEAL IS BROKEN" were broken. I got it to pair with my Iphone 3GS no problem. I can pair it with my computer running Windows XP but it wont play audio...the only reason I purchased them was for skype really. Anyone got any suggestions?

Same with me WTH? Can we return? I have not even used them yet since I am already hearing horror stories. Are there returns available?

All 4 stickers were broken when recieved. forward and back button does nothing but beeps. and both earphones sound blown. I thought these were listed as new? worst woot I have ever purchased. I hope woot will make things right, 50 bucks down the drain.

Definitely not the best $50 I've ever spent. The seals were broken (open box?) and these are ridiculously uncomfortable. They are so tight it gives me a headache, and they are not nice on the ear either. I had no problem syncing them with my computer and using them with Rosetta stone for a while, which worked fine, but they will not sync with my iphone at all. The directions are pathetic as well.

Well now this is nice. I originally paired it with my computer without problem. Then I tried to pair it to my iphone and the iphone couldn't find it. Now it won't work with my computer. It asks for the pin (which it did not do before) and then either says there is an unknown error or that it doesn't support the authentication type. When I try pairing with a pin it just sits there trying to connect and eventually stops without connecting.

Anyone find Win7 drivers for these? Windows Update doesn't have drivers and Samsung's website only has Vista drivers.

I was able to connect it to my computer with Windows 7 Ultimate. It found and installed the drivers on its own.

Same issue with the broken seals... I thought these were new?

Anyone else having issues with the microphone? I tried recording via Vista's 'sound recorder' and it is completely garbled and indistinguishable. The volume adjustment also seems to be a little shoddy in working or not.

When I travel, I tend to take USB power cords & an apple 115v plug to USB with me instead of the individual wall warts. Ive found that the USB charging cable for an XBOX 360 wireless headset fits/works perfectly for this application...just an FYI for everyone who may also charge devices by USB.

no problems pairing this woot to my iPhone 4...but it does seem to drop connection once in a while when switching between medias (i.e. stopping music play and then watching a video sometimes causes the headset to loose pairing and auto reconnect).
More of an annoyance than anything...but overall a great buy IMO

Well, they seem to work fine for me, on my phone and my PC. The thing is, they're bloody uncomfortable. Maybe they'll get better if they stretch out a bit, but I'm a little afraid to pull on them to see if it helps.

At least you got yours, I'm still waiting. Just arrived at my local snail mail facility, lets see how long they Frankenstein around with it before they actually get it to me. BTW, the post office is less than a mile from me.

Came this morning. Sound is not nearly as good as it should be/the reviews say. All my tamper seals were broken for me as well. Shame on woot.
