Got mine on Friday and I love it.

No issues paring with my Win 7 computer with generic bluetooth dongle. No issues with the phone pairing either (but I'm using a Samsung phone as well)

I thought the sound was crappy until I realized that the volume controls on the headset are independent from the bluetooth output volume of the paired device. Once I cranked up the level on the phone, the sound came in nice and crisp.

Bass response is pretty sad without the bass boost feature. But once enabled, decent.

Wide feature is fun to mess with, but you'll lose a lot of tone in the translation.

Mic volume was not an issue during phone calls.

The band will keep the set firmly in place... almost uncomfortable, but nothing like SkullCandy's Skullcrushers.

This bowled over my Motorola set and was only 1/3 of the price. I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

If they're there you can just go down and pick them up, at least my post office lets me do that when I get impatient.

To add to this the sound wasn't great being wired to my iPod.

It paired up very easily to my droid. (sound is still very flat)

Same here. The seals were broken and there was no pouch (the quick start guide mention it should be there).

Also, the norm/wide/bass switch doesn't do anything. I've only used it plugged in to the computer, haven't tried to do anything with bluetooth yet.

Sounds is okay, nothing great, nothing awful. Haven't paired it with anything yet...

Well, they arrived today, and I paired them with my PC. Now, I have no idea how to actually use them. They're not listed in my Playback Devices list, but they are listed under Devices and Printers. Any ideas? (on Windows 7 Home)

Mine just arrived today, paired easily with my droid. Headset is fairly comfortable but wish the earcups were a tad bit larger. Sound quality is fairly flat on normal setting but a little more better on bass. Definitely not noise canceling but keeps most sounds out. Overall for a bluetooth set it's a very good value at $50 even with the decent at best audio

Got mine today and when paired with my Blackberry Curve 2 they sound awful, like both speakers are blown. When connected to my Macbook Pro, (after fixing the OSX bluetoooth issue) they sound a little bit better but still sound like the audio is muddled, and they produce alot of audio popping.

All 4 of my seals were on and not tampered with. If anyone has a fix to the audio quality issue, I'd love to hear it.

*EDIT: I tried on several pairs of my friends headsets, and it appears that the audio quality for this headset is on par with the other ones I tried. I've been spoiled with some really good wired headsets so I was comparing these to a very high standard.

Received mine today and gave it a try...

Blackberry Tour:

Paired easily (using the password 0000) and I was able to get it working with Pandora (have to go into Pandora settings and enable Bluetooth). Sound is a bit tinny, but not unbearably bad, and switching them off the "Wide" sound setting definitely helps. This is about what I would expect for Bluetooth. Volume control works and Play/Pause doesn't. Whatever.

Window 7 Ultimate PC:

My plan when purchasing these was to pair them with my HTPC to watch shows on there while my fiancee studies in the same room. None such luck. I was able to pair them with the PC using a generic Bluetooth dongle, but Windows 7 couldn't find the necessary drivers to get them working. I enabled searching of Windows Update for drivers, and that still buttafuocoed. A significant amount of Googling later, I'm still at an impasse. Anyone have better luck with this?

Nope - I'm in the same situation - it pairs, but with a generic driver that doesn't appear to make it visible as a sound device.

I found a similar thread about a Dell headset that recommended uninstalling the Broadcom Bluetooth and installing a Microsoft version, but nothing definite for this one.

Hey people at woot! Listen up! Mine (and others) have arrived with the tamper seals broken. How is this acceptable?

Non-woot! related complaints:

They did pair right away to my MacBook but alas, the delay is too great to use with my keyboard and garageband. Mine sound terrible, unlistenable, like blown laptop speakers. I am in now way a audio snob, but on all three settings with a variety of combinations of volumes between the computer and the headphones there is noticeable clipping and consistent fuzz. There is no way these would be useful for listening to anything.

This was my first woot! purchase and I am very disappointed.

We have checked out the remaining units we have in our warehouse, and all of them are new (seals intact). It's possible that the seals were broken during shipping. Rest assured though, your unit is new, and you should not have any problems with warranty. If you have any questions regarding your product, please contact us as service@woot.com.

A few of my seals had fallen off but one was intact. I think it was just shipping our moisture or both. Not a concern to me.

I like them so far but ran into one issue. On my iPhone 3G the ipod works fine but when I launch Pandora it just hangs and then my email quit also. Had to reboot the phone. Just got them so I still need to do more testing to see whats up.

Same here...wasn't to happy to see this advertised as "noise-canceling" and didn't see anywhere listed on the package that these were noise canceling. Pretty disappointing to be honest. The quality isn't nearly as great as an actual pair of Sony noise canceling headphones I have (but are wired) and the earcups are incredibly small. Guess I'll give these to my wife since they are to small for my head/ears.

I had one seal broken on mine as well.

What can I do to open an RMA or something similar considering my controls aren't working and the lack of "noise-cancelling" functionality.

The noise-canceling referred to the microphone - not the speakers. This was made clear enough in the product description and the comments the day it was sold.

I'm very happy with the sound quality of these headphones. It integrated with my Evo playing Pandora great. Pause and skip work without a hitch. My only complaint is that the volume controls seem to do nothing on my Evo. Hopefully this is something that can be patched, but is not a tremendous deal to me.

Hey everyone I emailed woot about the broken seals, as I am sure many of you did this what they wrote about tthe seals: "After we reviewed many of the items we still had in stock, we determined the manufacturer did not do as many will do and glue the plastic segments to the cardboard. Instead, they used only the stickers which could easily have been broken while the product was in transit. The product is still new as it was advertised. At this time, you can attempt to go through Samsung for warranty support if you feel it necessary but I can assure you the product received is in the new condition indicated at the time of sale."

Multiple seals broken... no big deal they are obviously brand new.

Sound quality is horrible in comparison to the reviews published. Not sure what people were listening to... They sound blown at times. Bass is terrible.

They are probably great in comparison to other bluetooth sets but I thought these would be better than some of the mid grade wired sets out there and that was an incorrect assumption on my part.

When I used the cord to plug the headset into my computer/ipod, it played fine, but none of the buttons (volume/bass) did anything.

When I paired them with my iMac, all the buttons then worked. Just thought that may help. I wasn't happy at first, but after fiddling a bit, they are growing on me...

Quick update. These things are pretty cool when connected and using the controls. Sound quality is still not as outstanding as reviews say but not bad at all for what they are. These will be perfect for what I bought them for... Being able to roam around the house and listen to music from my pc or phone and the control integration is perfect for that as well.

OK, I got a little bit further...

Control Panel -> Devices & Printers -> Add Device

Added the device OK.

Right Click -> Properties -> Services - check all boxes

Find the Bluetooth icon on your taskbar:

Right click -> Open Settings -> Audio

Clicking "Bluetooth Hands-Free Audio" -> Connect appears to connect it, but I can't see it in Skype, though I did get a request for Bluetooth to access SKype.

Clicking "Bluetooth Stereo Audio" -> Connect, says "Connecting", then, after 10 seconds it says "Disconnected".

Can't get any further than that. Anyone else got further? I still can't see the device in the sound playback devices section of COntrol Panel or in Skype. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

My set was delivered with the "DO NOT ACCEPT IF SEAL IS BROKEN" sticker being exactly that, broken.
Is there a way I can return this for a non-tampered-with item?

Just paired mine with my imac. Very disappointed with the sound quality and the fit. Are these for children? The speakers sound blown. Tons of popping and static. There goes $50 that could have gone towards a pair of Bose..

Mine just arrived today. Three of four seals broken, but all inside appeared new and not touched. It's conceivable that the seals broke on their own.

Paired with my itouch easily enough. Sound quality is very good for $50. My last pair of bluetooth headphones cost the same and were of much poorer quality. I'm pleased with my purchase so far.

Just received mine today. Has anyone had a problem with the headphones cutting in and out? I was listening to music and it frequently was dropping the audio.

Update after a couple days:

I still like the headphones. I noticed that in the "wide" music mode, the music tends to sound scratchy. I saw some complaints about that from other users. I keep mine in "norm" or "bass" mode.

BT range is about 50 feet for me. It goes down when someone is blocking the signal (or your son picks up your ipod and holds it...)

One thing I wish the set had was an inexpensive BT adapter for PC - which would allow me to listen to Pandora or music with the headphones while I'm at work. Having to use a cord kind of defeats the purpose of having BT headphones.

One other small gripe is that after 15 minutes or so the headphones get uncomfortable for me. But all in all, I'm happy I bought them.

Broken seals as well and missing pouch.

Paired with my iPod Touch Gen 3 perfectly. All controls working except forward/back. The volume control could appear more responsive. You need to press it several times to advance the volume. The increments are so small it only appears to not be working. The volume control on the Touch does affect volume so I recommend setting the headphone to max volume (you will hear a beep at the upper setting) and use the control on your Touch. iPhone should work the same.

I agree with the audio quality issues and it is clear the reviewers were not audiophiles based on their reviews. I have some inexpensive in the ear buds that out perform these. Playing with the Touch's EQ setting helps overcome some of frequency response deficiencies. There is some occasional clipping when both Touch and the headphones are set at full volume. Very average sound for a headset, however, the bass response is strong. It is possible the audio will improve with more burn in time. I would have been very unhappy had I paid the 90-100 these usually sell for. Not terribly happy at $50, but since these are wireless bluetooth the price is about right.

Anyone have any luck with finding drivers for Windows 7. It is recognized as a new device but windows update can't find any drivers for it. I am unable to even find bluetooth drivers on the samsung website. Anything generic seem to work?

Why is the sound quality significantly better when pair with my Droid than with my win7x64 hp laptop? Nasty static replaces the sound of the letter "s" and similar sounds when paired with the laptop.

Great headphones when paired with Droid. All buttons work for me, except I can't her the difference between "wide", "norm" and "bass".

Anyone have luck getting these to work with their PCs under Vista/7 ? Windows is asking for drivers in order to use them for me. Can't seem to find anything at Samsung's website about this. For as much as these retailed for, you would think a driver would have been made for it.
