I have a small flat screen and sound was awful didn't want to spend more on sound than i did the TV so here's what i did, most newer TV's have a jack for ear phones, so i took a set of computer speakers and plugged them in.... you can't imagine the difference...ps use a set that is 8watts or better...most can be bought anywhere for around $20.00

This is a good deal. Last Woot Off I bought a pair (black color) but they were 20 bucks. Good quality stands (I think the base weighs like 20 lbs. alone), wish they were this price at that time.

I bought 3. When they arrive, I'll come back to this board and share how they turned out. Check back if you're interested.

These are perfect!

I believe I have the same speakers that are pictured and I just bought a wall mount for my 40" LCD and was trying to figure out where to put the surround speakers!

In for 2!

Anyone find a list of speakers it will work with? Just bought a nice Sony Blue Ray surround sound system and want to elevate the surround speakers...

In for one (pair). I haven't been able to follow the Woot-off at all, but I just happened to check while these were here... and I have been wanting something exactly like this; currently my speakers are half-way off my entertainment center, and I don't have enough room on the left or right of my entertainment center for anything wider.

Also, I dunno how heavy my speakers are, but prolly more than 3 lbs. I'm assuming that 3 lbs is just a "guideline"...

These are actually decent. I bought them last month for 7.99. They have a couple different mounting options. The bases are a little heavy for balance and they even have a double-sided tape mounting option if your speaker doesnt have mounting holes in the bottom.

With each of these stands being able to hold up to 3 pounds each, they should be able to hold most small speakers from smaller sound systems.

I think Bose makes some little guys that would come in under 3 lbs.

I have a 5.1 capable receiver, FR and FL speakers, and a center channel speaker already. I just need small rears that are suitable for a very small living room, and these have the look to the fit the bill as far as stands go, just need some speakers that will work with it

I bought these on the last woot-off. They are surprisingly well made, but they are a bit awkward for bigger speakers.

You have the choice to either hang them by a screw with no base support (which makes them seem like they will tip over), or use the included base plate and stick them to that using the included double-sided padded tape thing.

Can't complain too much though, for $10 they are definitely worthwhile, and i'd buy them again.

Got these in the last Woot Off!

They are very stylish and functional for my Bose satellites, however the ability to hide the cables inside is limited. I use Monster wiring and they are simply too large to fit inside.

These work perfectly for my entry-level 5.1 surround sound system, and they're unobtrusive enough that I don't notice them tucked away in the corners the way I did with wall mounts. They're simple to assemble and need no fancy tools or experience. The bases are a bit heavy but that just makes them super stable.

Best part is they're sturdy enough that my cat isn't able to knock them over when she goes on her nightly rampage around the house.. she now tends to avoid them after her first few flying tackle attempts resulted in a momentarily stunned and confused heap of cat.

Off topic, but does anyone have a link to what's already been sold with this woot-off?

I'm hoping for one of those Joby Gorillapod camera tripods that seem to come up every woot-off and I'm hoping I didn't miss it yet this time.

Anyone?

In for two pair. This price sure beats the $40/pair that my local one-stop-shopping mega-giant wanted. Hopefully they are heavy enough that my 3 year old granddaughter can't lift them high enough to wallop her sister with them.
