Your crap gives me hope! I have a one pound 12x12x18 box waiting for me at the Fedex facility that will hopefully be delivered on Monday. I would be quite satisfied with the haul you got, if mine's similar.

Hdmi cables usually aren't very long. The extenders allow you to connect 2 short ones to make a longer one so you can watch tv on the john.

Forgive my extreme ignorance this is my first time getting a Bucket of Candy. I just have two question which are probably well known but I can't seem to find an answer by reading the posts.

1. How many Bucket of Candy are sold each wootoff

2. Is there a letter / pallet each wootoff or do they skip some.
Thanks in advance.

Check the first post, the woot goblin posts how many Bucket of Candy were sold. (in this one there was around 3000)

for your second one someone more seasoned can probably answer that. I'm guessing they do a pallet each time they have a Bucket of Candy or at least a letter of some sort.

Really? Mine is coming to the SLC and still has the last tracking in Texas. SPOOKTACULAR! smartpost. Usually woot items get handed off in Denver to USPS for delivery, and then a few days later goes to fedex again, and then to SLC where it's handed off for the final time. Hopefully this time it doesn't and I actually get the shipment next week sometime!

How the craptastic is yours already in Salt Lake? I'm in Salt Lake and my last update is departed smartpost location in friggin Dallas. Usually it has to hit Denver and then Salt Lake, so it looks like mine might not even make it's scheduled Wednesday delivery. Argggggghhhh!!!!

At least it's something I can blame on FedEx and not Woot [bows down to the Woot gods].

My crap just arrived in town a few hours ago. And there it will sit for another couple days.

Seriously, I live practically down the street from the FexEx hub, I should be allowed to dig through and find my package, right? Who put them in charge of my stuff anyway? Am I gonna just sit here and take that? No! Let's get 'em, boys! Let's do it for Johnny! For Johnny!

Who's with me?

I did just that with a client's laptop once. If you call up to the distribution center they can mark it for hold and you can pick it up with a valid ID on a business day. The laptop would have taken 3 more days to get to my office but the distro center was only an hour away so I made the call and picked it up. The client paid me $40 more bucks for the work since I got it back and fixed so quickly. Made back the money from driving down there. (This was with Fedex)

My bag just updated. It's 5.4 pounds and the dimensions are 14.4 in. x 10.4 in. x 8.8 in.

Too bad, I was kind of hoping to see what a 0.1 pound bag would have in it.

I'll be posting back again on Thursday or sooner!

It did grow some dimensions, Now 18x12x12.

My hopes-and-dreams container made it to The ATL today.

Lost an ounce along the way (truck driver needed an HDMI extender?), but grew in size. Now 12x12x18.

Still too small and light for a Roomba, but I'm sure it'll be craptastic.

14.4 in. x 10.5 in. x 8.6 in.

(330 * 5.9) ^ (1/3) = 12.4

LEM- wrote:

3. Don't get too exited. For the first few days most people will probably have some sort of cubed dimensions. This is because in the beginning the dimensions are not real. They are guesstimaged by FedEx based on weight (which may or may not be accurate). Here's the famous formula for you to check:

SIDE = ( 330 * WEIGHT ) ^ (1/3)
(side in inches, weight in lbs)

If it matches your dimensions to a few tenths of an inch - you know they are not real. That's for smaller packages. Those over 15lbs would always have the "dimensions" of a 15lbs package (or was it 16)... Again not real...

4. Once your package passed the first sorting station - the updated weight and real dimensions may show up. Usually that's the first stop it makes after Dallas. In my case (North-East) in either Kansas City, KS (as of recently - FedEx must have adjusted their routing in my direction) or Martinsburg, WV, for many others it's New Berlin, WI or another major SmartPost hub.
