These are horrible colors for stalking. Even if I'm wearing all urban camo while staking out my future husband's apartment from across the street, the bright pink would obviously give me away!

The same camera is $171.

I just bought this camera at Costco a couple of weeks ago for $129 on sale from $159. Great camera for $119. Nice sturdy metal construction. Ready to shoot a picture quickly by sliding cover.

The FP3 has the touch screen. The FP1 and FP2 are the same camera I believe just without the touch screen.

Power supply? It already comes with a power supply. Am I missing something?

Not really. Cleaner power is far better than more power, especially when it comes to some of todays more sensitive components. Spend the money on a GOOD power supply, and don't worry about the capacity (500w should be enough for anyone not running a top of the line GPU. 750w for a single GPU setup, and 1000w for a multiple GPU setup)...

Note - My old signature image won't work anymore since Woot stores it, so it won't be updated... Sorry for the inconvenience...

It comes with a 300w PSU, not enough power to run those components efficiently.

I got a Radeon 5770 graphics card and a RaidMax 530 Watt PSU, both from Newegg and for fairly cheap. They run just fine and easily handle my dual monitors!

Make sure the new one will fit the case. A 300w will be much smaller than one with more power.

I have a 14MP and I cannot see a difference between that and the 12MP except in the file size. 14MP=bigger file size.

My problem is identifying what IS a GOOD power supply. But I'll check all ratings, thanks.

What do you plan on doing with that thing? Turn it into a time machine? 3oo is enough to run it. Not sure what you will gain with a bigger power supply except burn out the componets a lot quicker.

FP1 has no touchscreen, no HD video recording, lower resolution 12mp vs 14mp. FP3 also adds several newer software features.

Read the specs of bpoth cams before choosing the older cheaper model. There are BIG differences.

You also want to consider possible upgrading. Current components will push the 300w supply to its limits so any upgrade will require a larger PSU.

If you're a gamer, 300W supply is definitely not enough if you want to use a higher end graphics card, and no, it won't burn out the components a lot quicker.

As a matter of fact, you will burn out the 300w supply trying to use a power hungry card, and possibly add additional drives to the empty bays.

I know, right?! It's mind boggling that they keep shoving megapixels into these basic point & shoot cameras. Most people using these cameras don't print anything larger than a 5x7, & for clarity in that size photo, everything over 3 MP is superfluous - I've actually printed a 14"x16" poster off a 3.2MP that looked perfect. They keep jamming megapixels in these cameras to keep the price up & all it effectively does is eat up space on your memory cards & hard drives. If they wanted to maintain the price by improving zoom I might be interested, but 14 MP on a point and shoot is ridiculous.

You will only notice the differences when you blow them up to large sizes. 12mp pic will pix elate before the 14mp pic thus allowing you to get a larger better quality print from a 14mp camera.

If you aren't doing that kinda thing then an 8mp camera will suit anyone just fine printing small standard size pictures.

I hear ya, but that's the way of things now-a-days, with small cameras. :-(
