That is all.
Now we are stuck with your D-bag in Philly. You can have him back. Very amused by the post.

Maybe it's just me? But I see this as a phenomenal waste of $18.00 for a kid of any age. Where is the stimulus in this "toy"?
And speaking of toys, why isn't at kids.woo.... Never mind.. asked, but not yet answered..

I bought these last christmas for my 3 yr old twins. (with supervision of course) They have been playing with them since and they play hard with them. We have not had a single piece break or wear out and it still even looks good. I'm getting all three sets today because your nano habatat can never have too many pieces. My kids are 4 now and still love them and play with them all the time. If you have a older kid there is a really cool website that lets you keep track of your nanobug collection also. As a side note I'm 37 and play with them alot also. The only real downside I can say is they wont go on carpet, you need a smooth surface or to keep them on the playset.
I think I'm getting into Heaven.

These have been specifically designed for this purpose, and as such, they have a shape and weight distribution that make them self righting. They're also fairly durable and ready to go right out of the package.
Yes, the toothbrush/blender project bla bla bla...might make a good science fair entry, but it'd be a lousy Christmas present.
Although I can imagining it would be amusing, to see the look on a child's face Christmas morning when they open their present and find a toothbrush, a pager, and a hot glue gun.

My 7 year old son, 9 year old daughter, 10 & 11 year old neices, and 9 year old boy all LOVE these things. I didn't get it at first, but they are enamored!
30ish year old male I met can't stop randomly walking over and making these things go...mild adult amusement and conversation starter (perhaps on how back in the old days he made one out of a vibrating phone & toothbrush).
The price is great! 2 bugs cost $16-$22. At amazon $39 and http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=4270676
No imagination? It's not legos, but use some blocks and set up all kinds of creative obstacles for these things. This set can be put together different ways, too. Kids have fun moving the bugs differently to come up with different results.
It is a HOT item this Christmas.
This is also harder to find in the stores, as I have looked and only seen it online, so it's likely our hexbug enthusiasts don't have this one.
My kids will love that they fall off the edge!

Hexbugs are one of the HOT toys this year and this is a great price! I already have one of these (and the Elevator set, and the basic Habitat set) but I'm buying a couple more - one for me and one for my Dad for Christmas.
You will want more pieces than this set though. This is made to be raised a level so the bugs battle it out then fall below.
It's fun stuff!
I refuse to waste any more time trying to have a better past!
