A couple reviews on Buzzillions.com. But not much. Decent vacuum.

I do a daily woot blog where I talk about the woot, link to CSEs, find reviews, etc. A few people have told me it's useful. Google "useful linkage" and there it is.

I used to have one of these, though an older model. They claimed it had the greatest suction per amount of electric power or something, or size. And it wasn't bad. But not all that good really, as it's small and uses little power. So proportionately it maybe strong, but absolutely? not so much!

But they also claimed that it didn't lose suction either as it filled. But it did lose suction, and the plastic thing you got the fluff out of was fiddly and a lot less convenient than a bag!

No Dyson this. But then its 1/10 of the price!

If these are model 108A and 109A, I'm confused-- the website seems to indicate that the purple one (109A) has an "Easy Empty Dust Cup," while the yellow one (108A) does not.

Any idea how long the rechargeable batteries last on a full charge?

I just used it in a friends home. No, I can't compare it to the Dyson but for a quick pick me up it worked G-R-E-A-T!

It remains in the charger when not in use. Hope that answers your question. I doubt you could use up a full charge. It's not meant for cleaning a 6000 square foot home lol.

A spill in the kitchen of sugar which is what I did 2 weeks ago picked up fast.

So I doubt you'll have a problem with the charge that's full all of the time.

anyone know how this would work picking up kitty litter on hardwood floors?

From the description: "Eureka Easy Clean 2-in-1 Vacuum"

If this was 2-for-1, I'd grab one (or two, as the case may be). But 2-in-1 is not the same as 2-for-1, right?

Does anyone know how loud this is, thinking of buying it for a friend with little kids at home and don't want them to be scared.

How does this do with hair?

How are these for hardwood or upholstery? How long will the battery go for, how long until it stops holding a charge, and how expensive are the replacements? Can I use it while plugged in?

Completely disregarding the nickname, your avatar supports this question so nicely.

Did you know shirt.woot ships internationally? Get you some!

If anybody from Woot is reading this, would you please let us know what type of shipping you are using? It makes a difference in what address I use. I have no home mail service here. Thanks

Nothing remains anywhere near the charger in the mm20 household! Generally things get recharged as they're dying- cell phones, batteries, etc... thanks though!

Amazon Review Answer

"It has enough battery life to take care of nearly every room in my 1200 sq.ft house (again, for quick jobs) and has enough suction to pick up larger dirt chunks and cat food pieces. I don't use the rug function for much, and I imagine that the battery life will be decreased if you use it more, but for wood/linoleum floors, it does great!"

Hope this helps.

Woot uses either Fedex Home or Fedex SmartPost™. The latter first uses Fedex to deliver the item from Woot to your local post office and then USPS takes over, and brings the goodie to you. Both Fedex Home and SmartPost™ deliver on Saturday, although not this Saturday since it's Christmas.

Thanks for the reply, I know how they ship, I just need to know how they are going to ship this. Usually they say ground delivery or SmartPost. This time they just say that's it's too late to receive it by Christmas. If it's coming ground, I can use my street address. If it's being shipped by SmartPost, I need to give them my Box Office number. USPS will not deliver to the houses in this town, you have to go to the Post Office.

It's great for hair. Really gives you that wind swept look all the actors have now-a-days. I use it every morning to style my hair and I've never been happier!! ;)

Is the HD upgradable on this vacuum? I don't think 250 GB will be enough to hold all the dust and pet hair that accumulates in my house over the course of a week.

And I'm confused about recharging it with the Xbox. Does it include a special syncing cable for that, or can I use standard USB?

Sometimes you need to fondle a product in a store. Just don't go for the first vacuum that looks at you with big puppy eyes.

I never used this vacuum, but I had something similar to this that I bought from Costco which is an Electrolux model for $79.99. I personally like mine, but some hard crumbs or sand, etc it would spin past the vacuum port and hit my foot. But because it is so lightweight and convenient I would always use it rather than my Dyson. Cordless vs Cord is a big difference. This model looks a bit cheaper in design because of the upper handle, whereas the Electrolux model has a switch with 2 levels of power. These vacuums are not quiet in my book.

That's the purple one. There's 9 more reviews for the yellow one on Amazon and some aren't so happy about the battery life. Maybe purple has better karma.

Finally, a product that doesn't suck! Well, it does suck, but that's what makes it...never mind.

Normal is just a setting on a washer
