My package has arrived in St. Louis, but I don't go back to school out there until the 15th. Another 11 days of waiting might just kill me

My tracking changed this morning, saying that the post office received the box at 10:51 am, so I headed down there, knowing that it wouldn't be in my PO box yet, but that, if they weren't busy, some kind postal worker would rummage around in the back and look for it.

My box was indeed empty, but there was only 1 person in line, so I figured why not?

I guess they do their sorting in the morning, because he said, even if it's here, it's not in the system yet, and we can't release it. There will be a slip in my box, and I can (stand in line) and pick it up tomorrow morning.

Oh well... what's another day? I was only hoping I could gloat a bit before Seattle and the Long Islanders opened theirs.

Got my Woot Crap today! It came USPS, even though I have a FedEx tracking number for it, and it was scheduled to be delivered in two more days. Strange. FedEx regularly comes to my house, so not sure why it cames USPS. There are NO FedEx markings on it--just USPS.

Anyway, here's what I got:

1 Viking-on-a-Bicycle shirt, 2X
1 PGA Backpack
2 PGA Caps
1 Box (x3 inside) Gold's Gym tote bags
1 Box (x4 inside) Phillips Universal Remotes
20 LED Clip-on "Tool Logic" Visor Lights

That's it. Of all the crap I was expecting, I'm happiest about the remotes. My son is going to college and we lost the remote for the TV he's going to take. Now I have 3 spares after he takes one! Also, the PGA gear is actually nicer than I thought it would be.

FedEx said 6.5 pounds and I weighed it at 6.4, so that's probably all I get. No hand-written note. So, not a great Woot! but certainly worth my 8 bucks--and I ain't complainin'!

Thanks for the CRAP, Woot!

I just recieved my Bag of Coal and have 130 Toollogic light/tool things also and looked them up and on amazon and they are selling for $12. or so bucks + shipping. Not sure what to do with them. Mine seem to be the red light ones.

Yay! My 6.8 pounds of crap were one day early!

1 PGA Backpack
2 PGA Hats
3 (one case) Golds Gym Bags
12 (one case) Shocking Tape Measures

For the record I did not try them, but they are battery included!

Not at all what I was expecting (that's why it's random I guess..) but definitely amusing through the whole trip.

Thanks Woot!

10.5 lb. Bucket on Crack arrived today.

1 - PGA backpack
1 - Aqua Globes Mini 3 pack
12 - Fact or Crap Quiz Books

I probably wouldn't have posted except that I also received one item that I haven't seen listed by anyone else.

1 - Halo3 Messenger bag

Nothing spectacular, but what can one expect from a Boondoggle Of Congress? It was fun playing.

Thanks Woot!

I completely forgot about mine coming and came home (Seattle) to find it on my porch. I forgot about it to the point that when I saw this pretty big box (18.1 in. x 12.4 in. x 12.3 in., 7.6lbs) on my porch, I actually thought "welcome the holidays is that? I didn't order anything."

Anyways - by true definition of the word crap:

2 boxes of Aqua Globes mini (3 each) - thinking boyfriend might actually want to use some of them since he's a plant guy - and I bet my grandma would just love the other box for Mother's Day. Ok - I'm gonna have to say that these paid for the Bundle of Coats.

6 Albino Rhino shirt.woot shirts - 4 womens size M and 2 womens size XL

2 PGA Hats - my dad immediately took one of them, which is cool since I think they're ugly and useless

and lastly

2 cases (3 per case) of the Golds Gym tote bags

All in all - an interesting haul. I dig the shirts - though they're too small for me... I bet I can find ladies who would like one.

My 8.4lb-er Bag of Coal showed up today!!!

1 3x pack of the Aqua Globes
1 PGA Backpack
3 Gold's Gym Tote bags
3 boxes of Christmas cards with Price tags of $5.99 to $7.99 and thats the sale price! haha
130 Toollogic light/tool things ($12. on amazon) What will I do with them???
It's not Leo's haul, but I'm happy. Thanks Woot!

I didn't bother with any pics... unless there is something offered that convinces me otherwise.

My crappy shipment contained:
3 - Golds Gym bags
2 - PGA Hats
1 - PGA one shoulder bag
AND
1 - Pentax Papilio 6.5x21 Binoculars (Nice to throw in the glovebox of the car!)

The binocs are a very nice crap to have received.

Oh, and both my cat and I thank you for not sending flaming toasters this time.

Woot! FTW!

This post made me run outside barefoot in pajama pants to see if my Bundle of Coats arrived yet (live in Redmond). Sadly, it is still not here, and my feet are now very cold.

Good haul, though!

I should be getting mine shortly. It's out for delivery and we just now got what the mail carrier could fit thru the mail slot. Should be dropping it off when she drives to the next spot.

The box was supposed to be a 13.4" cube, but it's more like 12.5x12.5x18. The 7.1 pound weight is about right.

2 boxes of aqua globe minis - for mom
1 white, loosely sequined purse - for my niece
1 box with 4 2010 Fact or Crap calendars inside - for 2021

I'll take it!

Mine's identical to yours except for the Halo3 Messenger Bag. So I think I actually got just 2 craps. I wonder what Woot will say if I call them on it.

I got mine today, opened it up with the kids.

1 PGA backpack (son took it)
4 fact or crap calander (kids will use to scribble on)
1 package of aquaglobes (plant watering kit)
1 flashy pink pocketbook (instantly taken by my 3 year old daughter. She loves it)
1 tripp lite surge protector. (What guy can't use another surge protector?!?!!?)

Not a bad haul and basically made everyone happy. Nothing for the wife though except the box or aquaglobes... DOH!

Thanks again Woot! You made my day.

So, here we are, all envious of Leo's impending delivery.. Yes, I am too...

Until I think back to about a year or so ago, when that one lucky letter recipient received something like 1200 car chargers for an obsolete phone...

It sounds real good at face value, that 569#... But remember, this is woot! we're dealing with!

Just really damn lucky: Random Crap: 2/15/08, 2/19/09, 12/25/09, 4/1/10, 12/1/10, 12/25/10, 4/1/11, 5/11/11, 9/14/11, 10/12/11, 12/25/11

3x Golds Gym bags
11x Tech lights (how random is that?)
