Welcome to Woot! I still feel like a newbie around here, but will try to answer the best I can:
(1) There is usually one Bag of Coal per Woot-Off (commonly held once a month, unannounced). Also you may expect a Bag of Coal on certain holidays.

(2) Flying Monkeys are kind of Woot! (un)official mascot. They have a cape with Woot! logo, are able to fly 50 feet and "Scream like the souls of the damned stretching on the racks of Hade". They are collectible slingshot monkeys sold by Woot! during Woot-Off and other ocassions.

Originally, they came about 6 or 7 times a year. In recent years, it seems to be closer to once a month, maybe a little less. (10 times a year?) Key times are during Woot-offs, Woot's birthday (look it up), April Fools Day, and Christmas or Christmas Eve.

You just have to be up at 12:00am CT and catch the product change. No secret message - a big clue is that the servers begin crashing and you can't get in.

The Flying Monkeys show up on almost every Woot-off as do the Woot-off lights. They usually signal the end of a Woot-off.

lol.....They did get terrible reviews, lol! I'm in Chicago so I don't envision being able to use the snowboard any time soon, but we'll see.... I also don't have much use for a commercial grade GPS, so that one may have to find a better home

I got the exact same thing. Emailed customer service, and got a reply saying 'We will send the rest of your crap.'

So I'd check and make sure you don't have two tracking numbers listed on your account and then shoot them an email.

I'll probably ebay the remotes since I have Harmony remotes.

Not sure what to do with the PGA pack.

Overall it was a great experience for my 1st Bag of Coal! Following the thread was better than x-mas. I'll be coming back to see what Leo gets!
