Good morning everybody! Snow missed us! Thank goodness! School is on a regular schedule.

edit: There is still snow piled up, the size of a pickup truck, where the parking lots were plowed. I don't think it is ever going to melt.

edit2: The piles of snow in the parking lots have melted to the size of a Mini Cooper.

Roads were messy, but not bad otherwise.

SO decided we want a snow blower. :D

14 more inches. Now the snow on the side of the driveway is about 4 foot high. Side in the street around 5. Which means, it is harder to shovel because you have to throw the snow over the top of the pile.

This is childhood all over again!

Did the apron 3 times since yesterday.
You clean. Town throws heavy snow back into the driveway.

Went out with hubby at 6:30 and helped shovel. We had everything done. At least until the plow came.

Rusty, in a quest to find a toy outside, dug out a plastic sprinkler for the lawn and started chewing it up. I hope he didn't swallow any.
Large, sharp plastic stuff doesn't show up on X-rays.

I have a cold, but my back doesn't hurt!

Still grumpy.

I wonder if my in laws got their guy to do them?

Ohhh, that was pretty . Someone sent the news a photo of sunrise on the beach with the snow.

Plus Rusty is looking at his leash! I don't think so.

18 year old football player, next door. Haven't seen him with a shovel once.

Oh f k, son just called. He is driving down for his concert tonight.
3 hours drive. I'm sure icy roads all the way. Plus no place to put the car here.

If you see any blueberries in the stores....they are good!
Got a huge clamshell of them at costco. Ate them in a few days.
Got a normal clamshell at the store yesterday. Good!
It is blueberry season in Chile

Still Grumpy

Old lady across the street will be happy. One of her cats is sitting on the stoop, waiting for food.
I think there is more than one now.

Silly cat, she would let it in the house.

She is the one with the smelly pants.

Off to the dog park. Or a nap. Maybe 1/2 hour at the dog park.

Ugh

Have a cold, but it usually doesn't feel worse when I'm outside.
No walk tonight, too much snow.
So, it is dog park or nothing.

Hello. Went to lunch with a friend to Applebee's. Had one of their under 550 calorie lunches. Not bad. The she colored and cut my hair and I colored hers.

Dog park was great. 4 dogs. Lots of snow. Dogs tired each other out.
3 people built a huge snowman, but I didn't have my camera.

Got a snowblower?

Actually this year we need two.
The huge one for snow like today, and the smaller, easier to use one.

I just read where you're at an increased risk if you've had a stroke and you should ask your doctor if it's okay to shovel snow.
