I got playing cards at costco. So I ordered a book of card games off amazon, but I think it is too high a reading level. So I ordered one for kids.

Then I got some craft stuff from costco. Then the monkeys.

If brother in law has anywhere near the money he claims he has, he can send the necessities.
Since all the kids teaching are ivy league kids, I'm sure their parents are sending anything they really need.

So I'm just sending fun stuff.

Too bad I never met his girlfriend. She went to see him. She would know what the kids would like.

The flat rate boxes aren't that big. I'm guessing 3 boxes so far.

It would be cheaper to put them all in one box you get from the grocery store than mail three boxes.

Snowing here! Temp is down to 36. No accumulation but it is coming down.

edit: I made a huge pot of soup. School's phone tree has already called and said there would be no after school programs. This does not bode well for tomorrow!

Woke up. Looked out the window and snow. about an inch or two. So put on snow suit and went in my PJ's.

I stopped at Bob Evans and picked up lunch for us since they had emailed me a coupon for a free cup of soup and another one for my birthday for a free dessert. Got two soups, a wrap and a dessert. Anyway, husband's the soup lover in the family and I got him bean soup and he just raved about it. Said it was the best bean soup he's ever had. So if any of you have a Bob Evans nearby and like soup, try their bean.
