I guess some might find that an improvement...

And there you have found the ONLY reason I can think of for one to get these. Marble counter tops scratch very easily. Solution choices are:

- Replace countertops when they look like hell;
- Ditch the maker & head out to Starbucks/DnD daily;
- Go insta... no I won't say it;
- Skip the Joe and go right for the Monster; or
- The grandma solution: put a dishtowel under the coffee maker.

Of course these little handy caddy gems might, and probably do, drag with the weight on them. (I don't see a hovering mechanism to keep it balanced) Back to the dishtowel.

Pardon me if I'm being thick, but that is a joke, right? You can actually just move the coffee maker by touching any part other than the hot plate, right?

Yes, I bought them. Yes I will probably put both my coffee maker AND grinder on them - because I am a rebel like that you know.

And it beats rehanging my cabinets that hang too low and allow little access between the bottom of the cabinet and the counter.

I don't look at it as spending $11 on plastic China-made crap. I look at it as saving $10k on a kitchen remodel. I am an optimist.

Or deluded.

After reading reviews on Amazon.com a week ago I ordered from Handy Caddy website, buy one get one free. LOVE IT. Does just what it says it does. To be honest I was suprised by the great packing, slick retailer box it came in, nicely wrapped inside the box, a quality nice product. Its dishwasher safe, well made.I have a pretty large drip coffe maker (LG-14 cup) fits well. Im buying more for gifts. Its just one of those things you dont know you need until you get it.And once you get, you'd like to kick yourself for not getting one sooner. My coffee makers little rubber feet are happy!
Oh...and by the way, for all you little farts (I know this site is for 20 somethings) who make fun of this great little product? Im your 60 year ol dad who gets up long before you, makes the coffee, so you can come down hours later stumbling into the kitchen in your underwear to grab the already made coffee. And if it means my Handy Caddy makes it a little easier for me, and you dont like my little helper, move out and make your own damn coffee.(around noon). You'll be back begging me to give you the other one!

Judging by the map, either the west coast has a lot of trouble with appliances sticking to their counters or you're all stocking up on these in case they become rare collectibles. Might I suggest you look at the lego watches instead?

And no, I do not know how to use HTML tags to link this. Be old fashioned and copy and paste.

Nono, Lazy Susan goes on top of this.

HOLY CRAP. DJ. TURNTABLE. HANDY. CADDY.

I think it is my civic duty to spend the next 15 minutes coming up with ridiculous uses for this thing.

I have a KitchenAid Mixer on one of these and it seems to stand (although it barely fits). I haven't tried to use it while on the slider, though. I also use one to hold a blender (works nicely), and one more for a juice maker (works so-so: does not leave room for the juice container, and when I use the container, I need to place it on something to level it with the juice maker). Overall, it's a good product for people who don't have enough clearance under the kitchen cabinets. For example, I cannot tilt my KitchenAid mixer unless I move it from under the cabinets, and this thing is quite heave to move by hand. Same goes for juice maker. I think I'll get one more for the coffee maker.

To all you naysayers, I was just saying to my wife this morning that we needed something like this for our new Keurig coffee maker. The handle you have to lift to insert the coffee k-cups raises higher than the bottom of the kitchen cabinet, and you have to pull the unit out from under the cabinet to use it. Because the coffee maker is heavy (water reservoir) and has rubber feet, it's hard to move. It's exactly 9 inches wide, which makes this perfect. I'm in for one...er...two! Thanks woot.

Oooh! See, I cook....but only by gadget.

Gadget whores like me with a teeny tiny city kitchen and a love of cooking by various appliances.... (a ricer cooker, breadmaker (I admit I have a bit of a zojirushi obsession), a hefty 26 lb kitchenaid mixer plus various attachments, 16 lb electric pressure cooker, along with the standard food processor, coffee maker, espresso maker, juicer, etc, etc, etc) need these.

I rotate the toys (well the husband does) regularly depending on the menu and season, but once I ask him to plonk something big on the counter, it can stay plonked for days (xmas time for baking can take up all our counter space....and you won't have room to get anything else done when tomato season hits because of all the drying, saucing, and canning).

It'll be nice to make some room with just a quick shove!

Woot, my husband thanks you in advance.

I fully expected to guffaw twice as hard at this woot after watching the video. But my smirk faded when I realized I actually have a use for something like this...I have low kitchen wall cabinets with appliances beneath them. o.o

Luckily, however, I have enough dignity left to keep myself from buying it. That or I'm still recovering from the blow Christmas dealt to my bank account.

LOL. I'm nowhere near 20something anymore, but you sound just like my dad when I was!! I agree about it helping. No more skidding those rubber feet around the counter. Hmmm. I'm gonna try felt pads on mine. Then I won't need this thing!

My giant Kitchenaid cement mixer and that ridiculously heavy espresso machine from a woof off are both sitting on a really deep counter - neither of those appliances are featherweight so this is a great deal if they work! As a short old chick with stubby arms and a bad shoulder from jumping out of airplanes I have no problem admitting I am too decrepit to lift stuff and have eleven bucks to spend on what looks like a reasonable solution. Thanks - hopefully - Woot!
