These would be really good for someone who has very bad arthritis, a horrendously bad back, or otehr hand/wrist/arm disabilities. If they had marketed this purely as an aide to people with disabilities they probably could make 70 bucks a pop on them.

Yeah, I know that people who have arthritis CAN pick things up, ditto for the bad back thing, but I know that if it were the difference between being able to slide the toaster out with discomfort or with ease... well... why not? Anyway, specifically targeting the accessibility market would be better than the lazy

Is there a patent on this - 'cause I'm pretty sure I made this up.

Depends on the location and severity... I'm scheduled for surgery on my left elbow, as the cartilage has deteriorated to the point where my bones rub together when I move my arm. So actually, no, I can't pick things up unless they're light enough to lift with one hand, and it's a hand that's clawed up pretty badly. Fortunately I live in a house and not a tiny apartment, and was able to place the coffeemaker somewhere other than under the countertop -- otherwise I'd be in for a pair of these things and crowing about it. You may be onto something with the "market them as a disability aide" thing!

PS. I'm not yet 30 -- and had my first hip replacement before I was 20. Arthritis isn't just a disease of the senior set.

This was exactly what I wondered! I just installed my new kitchen cabinets with these two hands and only after I lovingly shuffled my KitchenAid Stand Mixer (not pro, sadly) beneath the corner cabinet thought, "Aw, crap."

I really should install cabinets with my brain instead.

Hey, look at that: a lot of these are being sold in the state that contains Seattle. Shocking!

I just wish these were more than 9 inches wide. I'm pretty sure my aunt and uncle's Keurig is wider'n that.

If this works like it says, it will be a great solution to moving my juicer and blender around all the time and losing the little rubber feet down the garbage disposal.

My Smart Post says Left Kansas on the 20th and due to be delivered today the 24th, but absolutely no update. Fed-Ex truck must have gone into a snow-bank ditch in Kansas and the poor truck driver is probably DEAD and frozen (with my Handy Caddies)!!!

Mine arrived Saturday. Took one to my mother-in-law for her Keurig. She loves it. Scored some points with the old Handy Caddy.

I ordered six and I think they are all broke. I opened two with pieces broken off. I can hear the pieces rattle in the others. hmph

I got mine, and my Keurig fits perfectly on one. The regular coffee maker is on a second one. Great. Don't know what I'll use the other two for, but sure I'll find SOMEthing that needs to slide out.
That said, I also had small pieces of plastic fall out of one of the boxes. But can't see exactly where it's broken.
Maybe they're just left-over bits?
I like these items! VERY handy.

I ordered 2 of these and they were both broken in the boxes.

What crappy quality. They can't even survive being shipped?

Nice! Mine arrived today and some of the bottom plastic had broken on each. Nothing major or preventing me from using them, but definitely a bit surprising to see they couldn't survive shipping.

Opened mine up to find both were broken. Also leaving a line on counter from the rubber wheel, perhaps a mixer is too heavy for these things?

I've had mine about a month now. It works great under my Mr. Coffee.

I have the other one as a backup, or gift for the first person who notices how good mine works!

Much as this is scoffed, I'd much rather my coffee pot sit on one of these than drag it across my counter to refill the thing. I even put two under a cutting board and now my contact griddle slides out from under the counter like it's a commercial operation.

They're not obtrusive, and if you had dark colored countertops, you probably wouldn't notice them at all.

Good buy, good buy.

Love mine. Been using one of my four a while now. I put it under my Keurig and when I use it, I pull it out from under my cabinets in my kitchen... It's genius made of plastic.
