Very disappointed that it hasn't shipped yet. I usually don't complain, but it does seem a little unfair to pay for an item and then have it take five days to ship. Is this coming Smart post? I can't remember. If so, I may as well add another five to six days on to that!

Apple pulled VLC media player off the itunes store recently. good luck with that. Azul media player for .99 cents works pretty good as a replacement for VLC.

the Audiogalaxy app allows you to stream your entire music collection via WI-FI from your computer to your ipod touch. (for those folks that have over 500 gigs of music) and the app is free!

The Air video app for 2.99 streams video to you ipod touch over wifi. You don't even have to convert to the 'special ipod' format as it converts your video on the fly.

Still hasn't come in. Probably will be first and last time using woot. (Unless I find an extravagant deal.)

Says on woot that it takes about 5 days to ship. It has been 7 now and still no shipping information. I last purchased a camera and it took a lot longer than expected. Getting disappointed in Woot lately.

Never got any shipping info, but the iPod just got here, with charging cable and headphones.

i agree what is up with woot lately? i usually receive the items within the designated days it says to ship.... better come soon or im done with woot.

Mine was finally delivered today (FedEx). Came in retail case with all accessories. Appears only reason for refurb is that the acrylic retail case had a crack in one corner.

I'm in Springfield, MO, and haven't heard anything from woot or any idea when mine is arriving...

man this woot is gettin to me.......i been waitin for a week now and still no notice.........or delays......hopefully it comes in 9 days(sarcasm) as it always do.........

California here. . .no package, no shipping notice; status still order is "in" not "shipped". Gift for my son, we're both bummed. Its been "in" since we ordered, what's the delay?

I am in Michigan. I ordered three, they came in separate packages, and had both the headphones and cables. It was the basic little retail box.

Tryed the reference says they didn't find anything. Queer. Next time ill have to order off of amazon or somewhere else this makes me dissapointed even ebay people ship out faster than the hobos working for woot

I'm regretting this purchase more and more every day. I could have got a brand new iPod with a better warranty for only few bucks more and I would have had it a week ago! And my last purchase I made from Woot! took so long to ship that I had forgotten I even ordered it when it showed up. Not impressed these days...

I bought this 8 gig model.. but now that I have ti plugged in its registering only 6.43 gigs available......... that happened to the rest of the gigs??? how can I acccess them??

got mine today (Seattle, WA) and the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. It was just wrapped in a cheap shipping bag, bundled up. the plastic case that holds the touch was separated and the Apple seal was torn from shifting. i am sure its fine. but am charging it up now to make sure.

Also got mine in Seattle today, same crappy packaging, which is ok I guess, but the ipod was GLUED into the box with a gigantic glob of really difficult to remove glue. I'm still trying to get all the residue off. The back of the ipod is completely covered in scratches, but whatever it's a refurb. Still waiting for it to charge to make sure everything works right.

I totally agree with other comments on here. I received mine in cheap one layered bubble wrap. the plastic casing was cracked, ipod already has dings and scratches.. if i knew that refurbished means used casing with dings i would've never bought it. i bought refurbished through Apple and they gave me brand new casing. this is disappointing. I wish i would've bought brand new at walmart for just 20 dollars more. This was my first time shopping at woot and it will be my last. sorry woot, you've just lost a customer :/

has anyone got a defective one? I bought 2 and one of them gets very hot and the battery will not stay charged and the internal speaker wont work. and the other one is perfect!

got mine yesterday....the back is all scratched up. the glue took forever to remove, even with Goo be Gone!!! i'd be happy if not for the scratches...or a cheaper price.

and to the person wondering where the extra GB went...8GB is the size before the Operating System is installed. if you want it to work, then you'll need it ;o)so yeah, you basically have 6GB of space.
