I think it would help if instead of stating "within 5 business days" you changed the text to more accurately read "We ship at midnight on the 5th business day. We do not send you shipping confirmation emails. Basically it gets there when it gets there."

Just got tracking info...
Current status: Out for Delivery

Getting tracking info the day it is to be delivered isn't terribly helpful. Oh well. I guess I'm more pleased with not having to wait 5 more days after getting tracking info. I just hope nobody lifts the package off my porch...I can't live without these things! Also, I hope there are no male cats in the neighborhood that want to mark the box as their own. Oh, if only I had known the box was coming! ;)

hmmm I ordered these two days prior to the laptop and I got that delivered yesterday... guess wisps don't have wifi to help find their way.

By the way, woot states at the top of the general facts page:

"I see only one item, do you sell anything else?

I have a sneaking suspicion that you have to now say 5 business day because you do not have the items in stock. You are simple selling for some third party affiliate and once you collect all the orders, you send them all the order info and they ship you what you need.

Funny how alot of these shipping issues suddenly popped up once Yahoo purchased you guys. So, exactly what did Yahoo do to start tearing down the reputation of the very best deal of the day site on the web?

I love woot and my 183 purchases prove that! I love the products, the people and the personality that woot brings to their daily listings but something has drastically changed. The shipping times, the quality of the products received, actually getting what I ordered.

Well, tomorrow (Wednesday) is the fifth business day so I assume we will get an email letting us know that woot finally printed a shipping label. The tracking number will show that the package was actually picked up from woot and headed to the Dallas sorting facility on friday or monday. But hey, they at least generated a shipping label on the fifth day so they covered themselves!



I am not too proud to admit when I have mispoken. I got my tracking email today and that showed that my purchase was received by the shipper on Wednesday 01/26/11 at 1:30 am.

Thank you Woot. I was wrong with my previous prediction.

Too bad it also says that I want get it until next Wednesday 02/02/11.

But still, an order placed on 01/19/11 and delivery is scheduled to be 02/02/11. Well, I guess you get what you pay for with 5 dollar shipping.

it's weird, im used to slow shipping for smartpost to crawl from Dallas and up the coast to CT, but FedEx says they'll have my package to me by Tuesday. I'm not used to that.

Usually, the mail man will leave the woot packages on the porch. This time, he kept it since no one was home. Now, I have to go to the post office during my lunch hour. I wonder why this item is different than any other... Maybe he thought it'd blow away.

Maybe if I had received tracking info before the day it was to be delivered I could have anticipated this and wouldn't have to waste my lunch standing in line. It's ok, woot, I'll let this one slide.

Ours also was shipped with "delivery confirmation required" so we had to go to the post office to get it. annoying, but whatever - we now have more wisp than we know what do to with!

I'm in NJ and the tracking said it would be delivered today. Now I check the status and they conveniently just took away the "Expected Delivery Date."

It's been 5 miles from my house for 3 days now.

I always kick myself after ordering from Woot. You really get what you pay for.

I was looking around the forums for anyone else who had issues. I signed up for three boxes and the transaction appeared to have gone through (Paypal). I have used Paypal in that past and purchased off Woot.com in the past, but not together.

At any rate, no product, no charge, nothing. Woot.com history didn't record my transaction, my bank didn't notice a charge, and I didn't received a product so I'm leaning towards operator error; however, I do buy quite a few things online and don't think I would have botched a checkout process.

Thought an obvious trend may shed some light on the issue.
