Come on, man...if you're going to use Photoshop to try to fool all of the Woot! community make sure you have the skills! Enough is enough out of you, and I hope you got what you wanted out of trying to trick us all. Sub-par joke if you ask me. Now the Woot gods will deem that you NEVER get a letter...

I knew at a glance it was a photoshop (it just looked...wrong, too blurry and just wasn't quite right) but cookies for you sir for posting how half butt of a photoshop it was.

You are correct... but if i would have said i broke a chisel, someone would have searched for a broken chisel picture. lol

Nicely done.

And Kudos to those who were detail oriented enough to see it! I thought the monkey looked a little small, but I figured it was a keychain one (one which I have yet to possess).

Either way, t'was fun.

No letters at all this round?

Well done!

You had us going there. It sounded wrong from the start (no stone tablet from the Woot gods, Woot seems to use a different carrier for crates and such, etc) and the story didn't seem right. I'd have that crate open one way or the other - screwdrivers, chisels, drills, mallets and spikes, fifty rabid and hungry pitbulls, 100 woodpeckers, 75 beavers - rather than give up after a puny screwdriver (which turns out to be a chisel) breaks. The picture looked wrong, too, although I couldn't put my finger on it (thanks for the excellent sleuthing by our fellow Wootites).

I am not angry, though. It was entertaining and would have been even greater if this was from a March Wootoff.

At any rate, thanks for the suspense. It kept me coming back here even though I already got my Big Orphaned Cetacea. I wanted to believe!

It was some what funny and Sirius GPP at the same time.

Everyone should have lived by the old tried and true, "Pics or it never happened". Once the pics did come it was obvious it didn't happen.

- Aquaglobes
- The ugliest purse ever (not a hat as originally attempted)
- Breast pump
- Baby Bottle
- A big and small generic Maglight
- 3x what seem to be ATI video card -> Composite/S-Video cables

- Two screaming monkeys. I had no idea these things were that awesome. The made for a very entertaining weekend.

Got mine on Saturday and I Scored:

1 set of aqua globes (no surprise) - all intact
2 woot monkeys (my 2 kids loved them)
1 breast pump
1 S006 helicopter
1 ugly yellow purse (my 2 daughters fought over)

Well I thought I had scored until I found out the helicopter did not work. Must have been a return. Oh well....I'm trying to decide if I should fix it up.

Nope! Mine left the Charlotte FedEx location 3 days ago to make the 90 minute trip to my local Post Office. It has yet to arrive. FedEx says to wait 5-7 days. Apparently they're still using the Pony Express... and the horses are walking backwards!

36 Woots. Could be more if the kids get a scholarship!

I just wanted to say how frackin' excited I am that I got my 1st Big o' Cosmos!!!! It was SO worth the wait!!! I was so excited about it, that I just sat there with the family, staring at the box for a few minutes before opening, with a grin from ear to ear. Everyone gathered around it like it was a Christening Ceremony or something. Absolutely FAN-freaking-tastic!!

My Big o' Cosmos contained:

Flowering Teas
Ear Warmers
Woot! Calendar
Aqua Globes
Hideous Purse
2 Different Skil Tool Sets that my husband nearly fainted from excitement over
(2) Flying, Screaming Monkies

My lucky 13th Big Orphaned Cetacea arrived today, in probably the biggest box I've even seen. It weighed 27 pounds, my heaviest yet. Unfortunately, I think it is my worst bag to date. I've never had a completely useless item that just needed to be thrown away. It contained:

woot monkeys
breast pump
baby clothes
ugly purse
aqua globes
broken ronco rotisserie oven

The glass door to the oven is completely shattered, most likely due to smartpost. Broken glass covered all of my other items, and my kitchen floor. I expect bags of crap to be full of useless junk, but I think shipping broken glass is dangerous. Maybe they should add open at own risk to the commandments?

The oven also has a huge dent in the bottom, so ordering a new door isn't even an option.

1 2-pak aqua globes

So, Pouch arrived today, with 10 boxes and packages for me...all mailed APO between 2/2 and 2/17. Obviously, they were waiting to fill the plane with someone else's stuff.

I had actually forgotten about the Woot stuff, until my husband said "why do you have flying monkeys?"

I said "I have flying Monkeys?!?!?! COOL!" I also have a black beaded purse (it's not THAT ugly) a breast pump, which I will try to give away to the only nursing co-worker, aqua globes, which I'm totally stoked about, a horribly, wonderfully, ugly leopard print cheapo snuggie, and three little cables that I have to figure out. Maybe they'll help with the TV problems I'm having.

Doesn't seem like 7.1 pounds worth of stuff...but I'm happy. First Big o' Cosmos, First try. How could I not be?

Ok, so I'm having a little trouble. Can anybody recommend a web site (with pictures) to help me figure out WHAT KIND of cables these are? I suspect audio, since there are red, white & yellow, plus black, but I don't even know where to start.

As always enjoyed reading what everyone recieved. Of coarse I was out of the house for all of 30 minutes during the woot off and of coarse that is when the Big o' Cosmos came and went.

I'm a little bummed that there was either no letter or the person with the letter decided to not post it on the website.

I was hoping for the letter "winner" to receive a pallet of breast pumps. That would've been one of the all time priceless BOCs.

You can use the collective hive mind of the wooters here by taking a photo of the cable and posting it here.

And please, an in-focus, distinct photo. I'm amazed at the truly horrible pictures some people post!

The yellow, red, white is probably a RCA cable used for video (yellow) and stereo sound (red and white). You lost me with the black one... Maybe an optical audio cable?

You could always take a picture of the actual cables you got and post them here. Just take a picture and load it to imageshack or something. Then post the link to the pic here. We'll help you out.

Or you can try searching on Google images or Amazon to see if you can find a match for the cable.

I'm with BSmith 1: RCA cable. If the black you refer to is the other end then it plugs into a random camcorder to play back on your TV. Shame it wasn't included!

any chance the black one has lots of little pins in it? in that case its likely s-video combined with RCA
