It would be better for you to contact service@woot.com directly. Note though that it can take a bit for them to process an RMA.
The blu-ray function of mine died. Sending it back to Memorex. Damn it.

Yep. Mine just starting doing the same thing pretty regularly. I have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to work. Darn! When it works, I'm pretty happy with it.

No. The wifi connection will only allow you to connect the unit to your home network so you can access Netflix, Pandora, or Blockbuster.

this product is a POS. lose the sound, probems with the remote. it freeses
Is it possible to add additional apps to the Memorex MVBD2535, or do you have to have a Smart TV and just add apps to it? Thanks!

I thought mine was the only one. Often I have to reseat the power cable to even get it to power on, won't work via remote or the front button, randomly turns itself off or won't let me turn it off and locks up randomly.
Add one more unit to those that refuse to power on. Don't know how long it's been like this as it's in my man cave and is not my primary Blu-Ray player. Was reliable before this, especially the WiFi to watch Netflix, etc.
