I actually had some down time last weekend, it was just paired with social time which is fun, but not as relaxing.

My mother-in-law's arrival is in 2.5 weeks. There is a hole in my living room floor, although I could fake the windows being done at this point - the scarf just needs hemmed, but it'd look fine for a couple weeks if I put it up, especially if I got the two ends that have been cut the longest (short ends) and have started fraying.

Good morning. I evidently missed the first round of storms, sirens, tornado warnings. Slept right through it. The next round is supposed to be later this afternoon and be worse. They're saying 2 to 4 inches of rain this afternoon!

My friend in Atlanta slept through a mini-tornado I guess it was - the property next to her was a mess of toppled tall trees (the house was amazingly OK). It sounds like it was straight-line winds because it cut swaths in various neighborhoods in her area of the city.

Sending my best wishes that you do not get the storms that are predicted.

I'm sure he does understand that...but it doesn't mean he can't make an effort to turn conversation away from this side show and on to real issues.

Mr Fenstar is one of our resident college kids. Male, east coast.

The college kids tend to disappear for months at a time and then just show up.

Actually most of our college kids graduated.

Gman is east coast, a little younger than me.

Oh, it seems after 12 years of catholic school, the nuns never actually taught me how to write.
So there seems to be a trick to reading d'name at times.
I don't know what it is.
