Well, who cares about the sansa? The point is, you can do almost everything on your iphone that I do on my Asus G53jw laptop, my rooted velocity cruz, Asus 12.1" touch tablet, blackberry with prepaid, and 4g hotspot with prepaid.
And guess what? after you've paid your 2 year service contract, it will cost relatively the same price as all of this gear.
The iphone is a poor man's computer, just like the console is a poor man's gaming computer.
All of my lower class friends that i know, they don't have a gaming laptop, gaming desktop pc, 4g hotspot, tablet pc, velocity cruz, but what they DO have, is an iphone, and some of them have an ipod touch.
Now I'm not saying I'm rich or anything, I make 50k, but iphone is a ripoff any way you look at it.
Now you might say that the portability justifies the price, well, I carry a very attractive laptop bag, people refer to it as a manbag, and its not inconvenient at all, but because of my good looks and high style I have no insecurities like most people, so I feel okay about carrying around an attractive be.ez bag with awesome tech.
At present, conformity is not a good thing, FYI, having a 2 year service contract, just means you're paying lots of money over time, and this contract helps influence your behavior, whether you like it or not, know it or not, it compels you use your iphone for tasks that are not suited for that device.
