Let me tell you all something: these things are awesome! I have one and bought one for my father. Father's day is coming up in June. Buy three and give to that special man in your life.

YOU WANT THESE. YOU SHOULD BUY THREE.

I'm starting a facebook cause page to complain about the quality of woot since the sellout! Who's with me!

(Hey it worked out ok in Egypt didn't it?)

LOL!!!!!

Actually I think that's the best use of a fb cause page I've ever heard! Ahh the delicious irony of using slactivism to protest slactivism powered capitalism! I love it!

This one is selling pretty slow.

Gives me time to get some work done.

I do miss the old woot offs, but hey as long as we have woot offs I will be a happy lady.

It seems that lately multi-day woot-offs are the norm... and I love it!

quentess wrote:Are all woot-off's this slow?

Generally, no. There are periods where a few consecutive items each take a while, but today's seems to have an oddly large amount of them. However, the first 10-20 items that started the Woot-Off went pretty quickly, so it could just be the grouping of items.

Stick around - you will be surprised at how quick things can move when we are hit with more desirable items with smaller quantities.

(Plus, you KNOW that if you turn away for a while, whether that be a half hour or a couple of hours, those 4 things you've been waiting for and NEED will be offered, and sold out...)

1ezmonkey wrote:I'm no better than anyone else but it is true that Woot today (or the past 2+ years) is not what it was and those of us still here from back then know what a good wootoff is. No need for quality post because I dont post much. Most quality post marks are (earned?)from what anyone that cared would find with a quick Google search. By telling everyone that I found it first by doing that google search and then posting it to me is condecending to those with the brains to do it on there own.

I'll take your word for it, on the quality of a woot-off pre-Amazon. I've heard it from others. However, as far as quality posts, it's not about what you post, it's about contributing to the discussion instead of just random posts(i.e. cat pictures). Yes, we could all do a Google search, but by putting it on the board you save them the hassle. There are some that were fairly hidden (not many), and there are those that are not as apt in using search engines as you and I. Believe it or not, not everyone knows how to use a computer. The point is, you get a quality woot by contributing to the discussion in a productive manner regardless of how you do it.

Yes, but the Bravo Oscar Charlie truly signals the end. There is usually one item after the Beta Omicron Chi that lasts until midnight.

Yeah. The monkeys. Although the last woot-off they put up the monkeys a couple of times just to mess with us.

The kid from Three Men and a Baby. What a lucky child to be reared with Steve Guttenberg's humor, Tom Selleck's mustache, and Ted Danson's racial sensitivity.

Man I was hoping they would have some mouses for sale today. No joke. I just got a desk for my laptop and decided I could probably use a full-sized mouse over the mini one I have. I've never seen a Woot-Off go this long without at least ONE mouse.

And hopefully not a gaming mouse please. too many cookies.
