I like to imagine that during a woot-off there is a warehouse full of tiny elves running around grabbing items off the shelves...invoices flying everywhere, angered managers cursing when the Big o' Cosmos comes up.

I do enjoy a good grilled cheese sandwich.

This is a smoking deal! I've had a Westinghouse 22" monitor for years and it's quality. LED LCD 120mhz for under $500! Buy 10!

I have this exact tv purchased in January from Costco at the same price. Great picture compared to my 32" LCD Visio and 52" LCD Phillips. Only thing is that the remote is not extremely responsive, have to have it pointed perfectly and it still changes channels and volume slow. Kind of a pain but I'll live with it.

No lie. I marked the bar on my screen with a Sharpie permanent marker and it doesn't lie. The bar went UP.

Okay, it's 120 Hz, but is it upgradable to being 3D-ready? That would make it more appealing.

You'd have to request a male and a female and you know how Woot is about requests.

If someone would like to buy one of these for me, I'll send him/her a picture of me using it (or not using it) every day for 1 year, or the life of the TV (whichever comes first).

Sincerely,
Poor College Student

I concur. I had a 26" PC monitor and the backlight went out after about 8 months. I fixed it, but it left a bad taste in my mouth for Westinghouse.

There's been other things I've wanted but wasn't able to buy. Either didn't have the funds or my computer was too slow. My old computer had 96MB RAM if that says anything.

Same price, but you get an additional warranty year through Costco. And if you use your AMEX card at Costco like I do, you got another year on top of that! The AMEX additional year works pretty much anywhere, but still.

I'm occasionally useful...
