Thanks, that was officially the quickest that a Big o' Cosmos had gotten to me! It took the right route too, Dallas > Denver > Colorado Springs. Denver is a bit north of us, but its where our mail goes.

I checked into FedEx for dimensions in case anyone cares:
12.5 in. x 12.5 in. x 12.5 in.
5,9 lbs / 2,7 kgs

Fingers crossed that yours comes tomorrow, full of TVs!

A lot of folks are complaining that the crap is not special enough or the crap is the same as everyone else's crap. Sorry, folks, but crap is crap.

I did a quick look at some of the items you are receiving (and I will be receiving any day now) and find the value of these items is great! Crap or not, you got quite the good deal!

I'm really excited about getting my first Big Orphaned Cetacea that I guess I'm not going to disappointed no matter what's in the Big o' Cosmos.

Crap is Crap. At least it's my crap.

Agreed - I LOVE my CRAP (but I miss the bag with the question mark...)

I'm in Austin too, was thinking the same thing. No updates since FedEx dropped off to USPS in Houston. Last estimated delivery for me is today (23rd). I'll try and post a pic if it comes today.

My First Big Orphaned Cetacea!

1 Aquaglobes (3-pack)
1 Electroman
1 Elmo Cowboy thing
1 Thomas the Train thing
1 Strawberry Bag

I see a lot of complaints in here...

This is really the gift that keeps giving...

I'll be traveling some day soon, with the 'Strawberry Bag' stuffed in my backpack - and I'll need a lightweight bag to help someone carry their ducklings or something - and whoever it is will be so impressed with my Strawberry Bag that I will be able to trade it for a pygmy goat, or a train ticket, or something really cool I can't begin to imagine right now...

A quick Google search turns up this page...

If it's similar (could be, because this one was/is being sold by Amazon), maybe the software will work.

Once again, I am pleasantly surprised with my haul.

The wife's comments will be in parentheses as she was watching as I opened.

1 x Giant metal bottle (will you use that?)
1 x strawberry shopping bag - opened to give another view (I really like that!)
1 x Electro man multi-outlet
1 x Aqua Globes mini (We need to get some plants)
1 x K'nex Elmo's Cowboy Adventure Set (Only two more years and our daughter can play with it)

Once again the globes are not broken, so I now have 2 medium sized, 3 mini sized, and 0 plants to water.

I'd been considering getting the electro-man if I saw him again... still might pick up another one.

I don't know if I'll use the giant metal bottle since it's the kind where you suck through a straw and that's a lot of work compared to the Contigo Water Bottles that I love.

Also, with my general disdain for Elmo, I'm thinking that might get re-gifted LONG before the daughter is old enough to play with it.

Thanks for another fun Big o' Cosmos, Woot!

The postman gave me crap today...

Box info : 2.3 lbs. / 16.3 in. x 12.3 in. x 10.7 in.

  • 1 x 180's Ear Warmers
  • 2 x Strawberry Bag
  • 1 x Aqua Globes Mini (3 pack)
  • 1 x Nvizio Pen Refills

First Big o' Cosmos I've ever received where it was all new crap. Also happens to be the first Big o' Cosmos where I didn't get any crap useful for myself.

180's Ear Warmers - Too small for my Sasquatch size head.

Strawberry Bags - If caught using in public, will surely get beat up by a gang of local rednecks.

Nvizio Pen Refills - No pens to match. But my writing is so poor even I can't read what I just wrote... much less anyone else. That's why I use computers (and half the time my typing is so poor I can barely make that out too).

Aqua Globes - It took me months to finally kill off the damn rose bushes in the front yard. And now there's buttercups and grass all over the place that already needs mowing. There's no way I'm going to encourage anything else to grow around here!

Although I have no use for the crap, I'll find good homes for the crap I got.

Suggested (inexpensive) replacement crap list for guys.

Not that I really want to gripe about the crap I got since I am appreciative of even getting a Big o' Cosmos this time around. But here's some suggestions for replacement items that you might consider in the next Big o' Cosmos instead of the "girlie" items shipped out this time.

Item received / suggested replacement

180's Ear Warmers / Set of foam ear plugs (so we don't have to listen to spouse, child, neighbor, dog, boss, co-worker, customer, etc.)

Strawberry Bags / Bags of "Texas air" which are useful as a stress release item to squeeze and pop (if we lose the foam earplugs and still end up listening to spouse, child, neighbor, dog, boss, co-worker, customer, etc.)

Nvizio Pen Refills / Stencil set (so I can repaint the worn off letters on the keyboard and make less typing mistakes).

Aqua Globes / Weed (aka flowers, grass) killer!

Very typical (for this round) crap:

1 x Giant metal bottle
1 x strawberry shopping bag
1 x Electro man multi-outlet
1 x Aqua Globes mini
1 x K'nex Elmo's Cowboy Adventure Set

My multi-outlet is faded yellow (that old computer color)--it must have been the window / display model. Plugged it in--green LED lit up and it didn't trip any circuit breaker!

Aqua Globes: meh. I water my plants by bucket.

Metal bottle. Chinese splendor (and quality). What chop-shop made these?

Elmo cowboy set? Rock! Son will love it.

Strawberry bag? Hmm. . . Neat; but we'll probably never use it.

Of my ~six bagos of crapos, I rate this second to last.

3/5 stars.

Thanks Woot Gods!
