Do the Amazon people wonder why they bought Woot more? or , why we WANT crap more?

My 3rd Big o' Cosmos since I joined Woot back in 2004. Contents probably won't be any better than the previous ones, but I was happy to get a Big o' Cosmos order completed regardless.

I just got the order screen, after the next item was 20% down... Not sure how that happened, since I was at my PC hitting F5 to refresh when it came up... Never made it off the main screen...

got my 3rd bag after a 3 (almost 4) year dry spell: and I had only been monitoring this woot-off for 10 minutes!! Thanks, woot.

Holy crap!

Well, I saw it when it was at 100%. I clicked that I wanted one. I was at the checkout stage. I clicked to confirm... it stayed loading and loading and loading... and then... I forgot to put in the friggin security code for my credit card. By the time I did, it was too late.

For shame.

Reloaded every few seconds, Big o' Cosmos came up, I Want One within a second, wait, wait, wait… (5 minutes)

Entered security code
wait, wait, wait… (4 minutes)

Hit ridiculously large button
wait, wait, wait… (15 minutes)

Order error.

All this on a 20Mb business class connection.

What gives woot!?

If you got the big gold "BUY IT" button and clicked that, then it times out, check your orders page ... you might have gotten lucky.

You'd think with being bought by Amazon that they would have some "actual" servers backing their network ... fail!!!! So much for a positive buy out! Woot Servers SUCK!

HAH!!! Here's to ol fashion me, my coworkers and I just finished up work and they both had wootilizer on, they gave me the heads up the big ol bag was on, so I give it a shot and bingo I got me one, they both froze up with the wootilizer. I guess I'll split my winings up because they gave me a heads up. If I get the big screen tv Ill choose what we watch and they can choose what to watch on the PIP.Good luck to all, and to all a good night!

SAME HERE! After hitting the initial button and putting in all my info it finally takes me to the confirmation page and I hit the button at the bottom there and it just hangs and eventually gives me an error (after 10 minutes)! Sirius GPP!

Click "My account" in the page header, under "Welcome novusangelus", if on your account page at the left under "what you've bought from Woot", it shows a Big o' Cosmos for today, your order went through.

Why is it that in every Big o' Cosmos, the biggest complainers of not getting a bag are the people that have 3-9 purchases in 5 years? They act like they're entitled to get one just because. You didn't get one. Try again next time. No need to pitch a fit about it.

I was there, but the order screen would not come up... Then I saw the IE phishing filter was checking the site. That's can't help when everybody was trying to get in. By the time I disabled it and tried again, it was too late.

Maybe next time....
