I had a 2" topper on a normal mattress and loved that, but this mattress is way too uncomfortable, and I haven't slept well in a week. Once there is a divit, you can't move or you will just roll back. And I got the king size version. I know if I bought this locally, there would be a return policy... is there one here?

I'm sorry that you aren't happy with your purchase, but as it's a matter of "just don't like it," then there's nothing to be done. Woot's FAQ says "If you buy something you don't end up liking or you have what marketing people call "buyer's remorse," sell it on eBay." Which, sure--totally cheeky attitude! But that's woot, and they were upfront about it.

I rose in rainy autumn and walked abroad in a shower of all my days.

well I finally gave up on this thing ever rising. Got it on the 28th unpacked it that day. Still a crater in the middle. Sent an email to Amber this morning so hopefully we can get this resolved quickly.

Just wanted to update after the last one. Got very quick reply from Amber.

Thank you for the visual evidence and I apologize for the inconvenience, I can clearly see that this mattress is defective. I will send over the refund request to Woot.com asap. You should see this post to your account within 3-5 business days from the point of processing. Thanks again for your cooperation!

Also having having the same issues here. It still has not regained it's shaped even after 1 week. I sent and email to Amber about it on Saturday and got a reply on Monday saying that I can get a refund.

Okay, so I've had my bed almost 2 weeks now. I was very fortunate to not have the problems everyone seems to have had. It "inflated" literally within 10 minutes and was solid within 2 hours. It was crazy firm the first few nights.

I admit, I was sleeping on a very thin futon + frame from Ikea for about a year prior, but how I lived without this mattress is beyond me.

IT DOES SOFTEN UP!

I sit in my bed constantly and I can't imagine regretting purchasing this bed. My domestic partner and I are VERY happy with it.

If you are offered an exchange, do it. It's really worth it.

I received my exchange on Tuesday. Amber is good at her job and I'm totally happy now. The new one expanded as it was supposed to.

Frankly,I can say that your old mattresses are of no use any more.I can suggest you to get new, comfortable and affordable Mattresses from Classic Bedsteads.

I agree, this bed is very comfortable. Just keep in mind that memory foam does feel different than a traditional spring mattress.

How odd, still no word from Woot on the refund. I figured the talking to the manufacturer would have been the slow part.

Is anyone else not getting a response from Amber? I sent 2 emails this week with no response about my defective bed.

Had the same trouble where the mattress would not inflate in the center. Looked like a bathtub. Amber was very responsive and provied a refund. Great Customer Service!!! Thank you Amber. Also gives me confidence in Woot in that they work with reliable vendors. Thanks.

You all said it could take up to 10 business days, it has been 11 business days since you received it back. I refused the delivery as I was directed and Jose signed for it on 4/7/2011: http://www.fedex.com/Tracking?language=english&cntry_code=us&tracknumbers=114254230150710
where is my refund?

Did anyone who purchased this have a problem with the middle of the mattress not "reinflating" properly? We keep hoping it's going to miraculously fix itself, but we've been sleeping in the middle of a half pipe for a month now ...thanks!

I'm very upset about this product! I ordered this mattress while on deployment and was really looking forward to getting a good night's sleep on a foam mattress without paying the 'tempur-pedic' price. Imagine my horror when I arrived home to see the mattress had what can only be describe as a huge 'scallop' along it's entire length and width. An otherwise great mattress is essentially unusable because you roll right to the center of bed when lying down on it. The mattress was promptly unpacked the day it arrived and allowed to expand for more than 72 hours, as instructed on woot! and elsewhere. I'm definitely going to file a warranty claim for a refund, but it sucks that I have to pay for return shipping, because it came in a 14x10x10 box and I don't have the industrial equipment to stuff a queen size mattress down to that size. Woot! -1 on this one.

This has been one of the few most disappointing purchases I've ever made in my life! In addition to this mattress, I had purchased a new platform bed frame, being the exact thing it is intended for. The mattress has sunken in the middle, leaving about a foot around the perimeter in it's intended condition. Now, I am 6 feet tall, though I'm not overweight. This thing is horrible on my back, seeing that I've got a sunken memory foam oval in the center of the bed, to which I must try and mold my body. Not worth the investment. I slept on a decent, expensive memory-foam mattress before, and it was nothing like this one. You get what you pay for.

So, after sending my post, I see you and at least one other person had the same issue. Any luck on your warranty refund?

ONE other person? have you even read the thread? there were a lot of defective units, and Woot and the MFR have been very good about working with folks that got DOA units in getting refunds or replacements

This is a really comfortable mattress. I sleep so much better since purchasing this memory foam mattress that I have finally given away my expensive pillow top. $250 w/2 foam pillows is a good value.

Not happy. Mattress is droopy in the middle. not very comgortable. How do i return it?

This mattress is part memory foam and part plain old foam. After only 6 months, the side of the mattress I was sleeping on has lost all of its support. Happily there is another side, but that only means this bed is good for 1 year. Don't waste your money.

That being said, I did sleep well for 5 months or so.

It also took a week or so to get used to it.

I purchased this one last year and set it up for my wife and infant about 5 months ago. I must add that I unpacked it and left it in an unused bedroom with wooden flooring for 5 or 6 months. however, it was fully expanded within 3-4 weeks. Not quite the 72 hours but made no difference to us at the time. We have different schedules now and needed the bed setup. I sleep in another quiet room with a big name expensive pillow top peice of crap.

This memory foam mattress is a firm mattress with very equal pressure points. I built a home made solid box frame for it myself. If it sags, then it will have to have an elephant on it! Absolutely zero sag on solid wooden box frame and my wife says its the best bed and sleep she has ever had.

This may change once I start sleeping on it but... I have layed down with them on it and OhMyGod... it feels great. I am actually on here looking for the code so I can order a second one for the other queen bed I have been sleeping on so I can have a bonfire or shredding practice with the s-er-ta no sleep master! I wake up hurting everyday with it.
