Mine arrived yesterday afternoon in pristine condition. 4.1 lbs. and no screen protectors; obviously brand-spanking new and beautiful!
I thought I would keep the stock ROM for a while, but a few forced closes of the browser in the first 5 minutes quickly disabused me of that notion. So I modded it with VegaN-tab and set up with Flesh 10.2, Dolphin HD browser, and everything else I wanted. I used Sean's famous instructions, which worked beautifully.
Then I saw Roebeet's warning about Clockwork Mod--I know somewhere else (I think XDA} I saw one about nvflash, so I steered clear of that. Oops--hope I won't have problems in the future, but so far, everything's good. I installed a whole mess of apps, one of which seems to be buggy, because all of a sudden I was having a lot of forced closes; reinstalling the affected apps seems to work. I have to figure out what's causing the problem and fix it; I'm pretty confident it won't be too hard to do.
My unsolicited advice to those who are on the fence about modding because you aren't confident of your tech skills: You don't need to be a techie to mod your tablet (I'm certainly not either). But it helps if non-techies consider you one! If Sean's instructions seem straightforward to you when you first read them, you shouldn't have any trouble at all. Easy-peasy and fun too. But if you don't understand them ("What does 'navigate to...' mean???"), then don't try it, with his or any other instructions.
Roebeet, Rothnic, GoJimi (and also Sean for your help), I can't thank you enough for putting in so much work and time to develop these ROMs and to help us all out. My tablet rocks big time, and so do you!!!
