Does anyone else's tracking state: "Initiated, shipment information sent to FedEx, please check back later" even though it has departed Dallas?

Hah! Unless someone in my office is savvy enough to spoof the actual Fed Ex long distance number AND record the Fed Ex robot's voice to pique my interest, not likely.

So, the saga continues. I called the Fex Ex toll free number this time (instead of the long distance number that I called the last time) and had the representative rolling when I told her about Bags of Crap. She did a search on my address and nothing is out for delivery...so I think "case closed, I am just going buggy". However, when she looks up the Wednesday tracking number to give me the Big o' Cosmos dimensions (14x14x14, BTW), she says "actually, this package didn't come up when searching your address, so if there is another package out there, with another tracking number, it won't come up searching on you address either." Then she adds, "we normally don't call unless a signature is required."

So now...do I take the afternoon off and HOPE that I am a golden ticket holder OR do I wait and, if I am a golden ticket holder, take the chance on having to wait until MONDAY to see what it is? ARGH!

Unlikely, but possible. I would think that they would ship any big ticket items a few days after shipping your original carp.

My only other Big o' Cosmos was a box of 16 lighted usb cables that were extra long. Worked out well for as I actually needed two, and my companies IT department needed a bunch. So I traded them the rest of the cables for a bunch or other random cables I needed.

Finally got tracking info for my Level 4 scaffolding:

6.6 lbs in a 13'' x 13'' x 13'' cardboard container. ETA April 15, but the date is usually a couple of days off.

What is the website for the crap tracker?

When I received my letter last summer, it was just inside the original box, hiding out at the bottom (I nearly missed it!) The big delivery came several days later and I was able to make arrangements with FedEx for the delivery driver to call me en route so i could leave work and head home to meet him. Hope this Helps- crossing my fingers for you!

That's what I think too, but I also think it is really odd that FedEx called me for no obvious reason. This is the ONE time I really wish I would have picked up my cel on an unrecognized number.

It lost a little weight from 5.6lbs to 5.5 lbs and instead of 12.4" cubed place holder dimensions it is listed as 18.2 in. x 12.6 in. x 11.8 in. It still estimates delivery on 4/12, but I bet it will come a day earlier, they usually do.

Wierd, upon arriving at the next FedEx station, my Big Orphaned Cetacea remained the same weight at 6.2 lbs but grew from a 12.8x12.8x12.8 box to a 18.3x12.8x12.5 box. I must be receiving some type of ray gun that can modify size and shape of objects!

Some BOCs come with a letter saying that one piece of crap was too big for this box and will be coming later. These letters have resulted in everything from an HD TV to a pallet of car wax

I am unable to add my crap to the tracker. THe place where you type in the displayed numbers for verification is disabled.
