Well, fellow wooters, the waiting is over...my 4th Blatent Oedipus Complex hath materialized unto mine own humble abode after being holed up at the post office 2 miles from my house since 8AM!!

The unbranded box that FedEx said was 7.4 lbs was actually 7.25 lbs according to our super-accurate household scale (heh), and it was 24" x 11.5" x 12.5" instead of the claimed 14.6" cube.

Exhibit A: (Level 5 Box)

After carefully opening the craptastic box, my eyes were met with:

(2) 6-Packs of woot! branded cedar grilling planks

(1) Small black and white bag made of 80% post consumer materials perfect for lunches, gift bags, carry all, fun!

(19) Bags o' Texas Air

(22) Ultra E-X-P-A-N-D Strawberry Reusable bags

Not quite sure what I'm gonna do with all of those strawberry bags, although my wife says she might give them away as party favors...but I am pretty stoked about the grilling planks and can't wait to try one out!

- THANKS WOOT, as always, You Rule!!!!1one1!!eleven11

Exhibit B:

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

I posted before, but I cant seem to find it. Here we go again
Level 8
1 - black and white bag
1 - agoo kids leggins
1 - road side kit
1 - Pandigital Photolink one touch scanner

Scanner would be my big score. I was actually thinking about getting one of these during this last woot off.

my dimensions changed to 18x12x12.

So the same box as most of the people in the 3 to 8 pound range. not expecting anything out of the ordinary but mine is 12.7 so there might be a few extra bags or a "random" item in there.

Oh well, the anticipation is usually the good part.

Did anyone else's bag leave Dallas and then return to the same place?

Mine seems to be making good time for a snail.
After leaving Dallas, arrived in Atlanta. Just left Atlanta about an hour ago. Let's hope now that it doesn't take a scenic route just to come right next door to over here in Alabama.....

Mine left Dallas, passed through KC Kansas and is spending the weekend at the casinos near Earth City, MO - due in SW MO on Tuesday.

The Very Definition of Irony:
The food stamp program, part of the Department of Agriculture, is pleased to be distributing the greatest amount of food stamps ever.
Meanwhile, the Park Service, also part of the Department of Agriculture, asks us to "please do not feed the animals" because the animals may grow dependent and not learn to take care of themselves.”
Somewhere there is a rather massive disconnect, isn’t there!

Mine arrived in Atlanta at 3:19 today and left Atlanta at 9 tonight. Maybe ours were travel mates for a short while? Hopefully it won't take too long to reach me in SC. I will never understand though why it will take until the 13th to make a 4 hour trip to my house!

Yeah? Is Home Delivery actually something special? Exciting!

So the weight is still stuck at 1.0lb, but dimensions have changed to 17"x14"x11", or something along those lines. I'll be keeping a close eye on the tracking page!

I got my bag. Oh man, I love it.

I vowed to love it no matter what, 'cause them's the rules, but I seriously couldn't have picked out a better bag o crap for me. They're things I would totally buy if I had the money, which I totally don't!

I received:
- 16 bags of Texas air. (14 inflated) ;-)
- THE WOOT CALENDAR!!! WOOT! Can't GET that in stores!
- a supercute swirly black and white mini tote made from recycled materials.
- 2 USB Think Lights, that are supposed to light up when you type! I LOVE this!
- A Sennheiser bluetooth headset for my mobile phone, brand new! I've never had anything like this. SO needed!
- and the AWESOME Franklin Covey day planner. Black Leather with white stitching, totally lush, filled with calendar and planning and address book things! I LOOOVE this! This was a perfect gift for me.

The 2 1/2 hours playing the game was definitely worth it. This is my first bag, and I'm not the kind of person who's ever gonna be lucky enough to get another, but I am super grateful that my one experience was everything I could have asked for in frustration (the game), excitement, insanity (when the FedEx tracking went screwy!), anticipation, surprise (when I got home and it was just there), and then elation. I got the whole experience.

I don't get to do things like this, and I'm woot's most grateful customer today.

Love the crap you get! The excitement alone is way better than $8 worth of drugs! ;-)

Level 3 bag left Dallas April 6th heading to me in North Dakota, next appeared in Chino, California on the 8th, arrived in LA early this morning, and has somehow slimmed down to 2.1 pounds from 2.4 originally. Also delivery just keeps getting pushed back, its now estimated arriving on the 18th.

A letter would make it all worth it, I could really use a TV woot

My first Big o' Cosmos, so exciting! Here's what I got:
2x 6 packs of grilling planks
2x handcrank powered flashlights w/ detachable pocket knives and phone charger attachments (none of which I can use)
2x rather beefy looking HDMI cables
3x headphone splitters
2x earmuffs
a small handbag
and an instruction manual for a bluetooth headset (but no headset). Cruel april fool's day joke, woot?

Regardless, very cool. I've been waiting for the grilling planks to come back, so I was happy to get two of those. Already had some earmuffs, the same exact kind in fact, but I was in need of an HDMI cable. And you can never have enough flashlights. Bummed I still have to hold my phone next to my ear like a commoner, but still happy with my first and most likely last Big o' Cosmos.

deftoned989 wrote:I walked into my leasing office today to pick up the BOCs, and the manager asks:

Him: "So you're trying to learn how to play guitar, huh?"

Me: "Um, no..."

Him: "Then why did you buy a guitar?"

Me: "..."

So here's my haul:

1 Spectrum Guitar (level 1)
4 Tote bags (levels 1,2,8)
3 baby bottle drying racks (level 8)
1 aqua globe set (level 2)
2 tabletop tripods (level 2)
2 ear warmers (level 8)
1 foam football (level 2)
2 sets of cedar grilling planks (level 8)

The guitar was definitely the coolest thing, though it was evident it had been sitting on a shelf for a LONG time or was a returned item. The portable (probably piece of Battlefield Earth (2000)) amp that was supposed to be included was not. No clue how much it's worth, but I guess I'll take up guitar in the near future.

Not being greedy here, just curious: the guitar box was my level 1 crap. It had a single tote bag in it. Technically, aren't I supposed to receive 2 more craps?

edit: For clarification, I don't care about getting 2 more craps, I am just curious for future craps. I have enough crap at the moment.

Think of it as 1 guitar and 6 strings, guitar is the bag & strings are the craps. You got 6! craps!

Post office left me a "please pick me up" slip yesterday, and I just got back from the post office to pick up my box, which contained:

1x swiveling "spin dock" (didn't know these things existed; too bad it's wobbly)

1x micro speaker shaped like a guy with a soccer ball for a head (again, I had no idea such... esoteric... things existed)

1x screaming monkey with Woot cape

1x recyclable mini-tote-bag

6x Texas air
