woot's system has some real problems. I've ordered two different thing recently and both order went through... then weeks later when I check to see if they have ever been sent their is no record that I ever ordered anything... I would be really pissed but some of the stuff turned out to be stinkers, like the green bucky balls that everyone says are total garbage.

Holy crap it finally worked! I reloaded that -31 link at least 75 times while it was on level 9 and when I finally got in, it was sold out.

Then I loaded that -32 link about a hundred times and was able to complete the purchase.

I beat level 8, and while I was screwing around trying to get it to open a buy page (rather than just go back to woot.com) it sold out and went to level 9. I did get a buy link out of it, but at that point it told me I needed to beat level 9.

Also, the links are a lie.

Ok, I was thinking that everyone was full of it. I've tried the -32 link at least 600+ times, and finally....FINALLY got in.

The link really does work. Honestly. But I think it's just as much of a crap-shoot as a regular-old Big o' Cosmos sell-out in 35 seconds event...

I was really ticked off at not even being able to do well at this Paperboy knockoff - and I used to be an arcade wizard!. Then I saw the link to kids.woot, tried it, and it worked the first time. Thanks muchly to whoever worked it out. I wasted a LOT of time at the game...

Well, the product code is embedded in the source code on the main page. If you go through the main woot site, it checks some flag to see if you've beat the appropriate level. But, if you go through one of the sub-sites, you can pull up the order page without that check. The links not working right 100% of the time seem to just be because the servers are hammered.

I got to the order page with the link, but then it redirected me after I put in my woot password and didn't put in the order!! I got that page twice! We, the Hitchhikers! And that game is totally unwinable if the random variables controlling the obstacles are just wrong!

So, I play the game but can't buy because I'm not logged in.

I log in, and it won't let me play the game.

Worked! used the wine.woot.com one. Took forever but eventually when through. Also double checked my woot account for purchase history and it is there!

And here I thought it was a joke but foolishly tried the link 200 times anyway...apparently persistence pays off (and switching from Chrome to IE!). Voila! Big Orphaned Cetacea!

What I don't like is... when you needed to beat level 3... I beat level 4 (the one that has fire and whatnot)... it gave me the link to buy the Big o' Cosmos... then, upon checkout, it kept giving me an error, essentially saying it's sold out.

So, either the website's programming failed me, or this is just an April Fools' Day joke to get people to waste their time.

I simply just don't give a care. I've tried a few times, and the game is rigged. I would like to think if you get a level 10 bag o chips that you would get some really nice stuff for your efforts, but I just don't think that would be the case if you read the bag o chips commandments. Imagine wasting all that time to only get 3 bottles of bacon salt. Thats it for me. I have never purchased their bag o chips, and as far as I am concerned, Woot can cram their bag o chips up their asterisks.

For anybody who thinks the link is fake: why else would the bar be moving so fast, when it took 2 hours to go from L6 to L7..... the game only gets harder from there.

I beat L3 when the server crashed, the link is redemption for the server fail.

And I'm actually quite curious as to if anyone really TRULY beat the game. Because it is impossible. The furthest level I reached was 4, where I got c*ckblocked by a Jatravartid firey planet and a spacesurfing monkey
